Verizon AntiGlare Screen Protectors. Worst ever?

Anything that will scratch Gorilla Glass will go through a screen protector like a rock through wet toilet paper. I'm not saying it's impossible to scratch GG, but 0.1mm of plastic isn't going to stop whatever it is. Watch some of the YouTube videos; people attacking it with car keys, stabbing it with pens.

I'm for naked; the number of scenarios where you benefit from a protector is very small, and from the moment you put it on, it messes with the primary function of the thing it's protecting (if only slightly). Not a net benefit imo.

hmmmmm....had Zagg on my OG Droid and Incredible....never liked the orange peel feel, thankfully, Zagg took them back and refunded me all my money....put the antiglare that came with the Fascinate on only because i didn't have anything else at the time...that was horrible

I went with Boxwave i think on the Inc, very nice, bought an interim cheapo on ebay for the Fascinate...applied it perfectly, it was just as good as the boxwave, only i got 3 for less than the price of 1 boxwave....the first one is still on the fascinate, 8 months going strong...

wife just got the Droid Pro and the free anti is on there...it too is horrible....going to buy some good ones right now...

def against going naked.. my screen is scratched.. just from being in my pocket.. but i change my protector about every 3 months.. and under it.. still good as new.. but where its not cover.. is getting rather scratched up.. GG or not.. being in my pants pocket with my keys.. will tear anything up

second this....my screen looks like a cutting board after 8 months of not having a screen protector.Good thing I always get insurance, and I hate how screen protectors just make glass feel like plastic....if I wanted a plastic screen I would have gotten a palm pre....

I know your post is from awhile back, but thanks for the Steinhall suggestion; got an ultra clear least week, and I'm thrilled with the clarity and ease of insulation... Plus our covers the entire face!

Thanks for the recommendations as well I told the verizon rep if it wasn't going to cover the entire screen I'd just get one online.

Never been happier!

I will admit that the matte screen protectors I bought did degrade the screen's picture quality a tiny bit, but they were a perfect cut, made the screen smooth, and left little to no fingerprints. I was running on Evil Fascination at the time, so I didn't really have a flashy wallpaper that I wanted to show off. My phone, in combination with the case I bought, looked like it belonged to the devil. :D
If you use Swype frequently, they can't be beat, IMO.

I use Realook on my Fascinate and my wifes T-bolt. It works great, easy install, and great feel. I have yet to get any scratches on this thing either.
