Verizon preorders getting pushed back

I ordered silver as well and my date was pushed back to 3/31. If this is true than there is no way their going to have enough Gear S2 watches. I preordered on 2/23 maybe 2 hours after it went live.

I ordered a Black S7 Edge together with a Silver S7 Edge at 8:30am EST (preorders started at 8:00am EST), and my expected ship date is also pushed back to 3/31/16.

The rep I spoke with said my ship date was still 3/11, and she had nmot heard anything about the date changing. Of course, she may not know what she's talking about. If this is true, it's total bs. T mobile and Sprint are getting theirs this week, haven't heard anything about att, but theirs are supposed to ship on Monday. How is it that only Verizon is having this 'problem?' Sounds like a total Verizon lack of giving a damn to me...

I agree because the Verizon rep I spoke with said that people would be getting their devices this week like other carriers but all other sources say that shipments have been delayed, which was confirmed when I went to a different store to look for more info. Not sure exactly what issue Verizon is facing but it's stopped me from switching over for now.

Just spoke to a Verizon rep on the phone

I ordered a Silver S7 edge on 2/23. She said my order was still scheduled to ship on 3/11 but that on another screen it said 3/31. She was very confused by this, put me on hold and checked with the "order department" and they couldn't explain what was going on either. She also said that when pre-order ship dates get pushed back she always gets an email about it, especially for a "big release" like this and that she hadn't received one. She promised to call me tomorrow and let me know what she found out.

At this point it's anyone's guess I suppose.

I ordered a (Verizon) silver one through Best Buy and it still says 3/11. Hopefully they won't have the delays on the silver models that VZW appears to have. I'll edit this post if I see a change.

I just decided to cancel my preorder. I only pulled the trigger to get that Gear S2 and if preorders are shipping late I'm not taking a chance. I then decided to re-order a black model that still shows 3/11 but my UPGRADE coupon does not work for the $100 off. Oh well; back to the iPhone 6S.

Just confirmed with Verizon that the Silver S7 Edge is not available to ship until 3/31.

Since I ordered within the first 30 minutes, I'm assuming that no one who ordered from Verizon online will be getting a Silver S7 Edge before April. That's pretty embarrassing.

A freaking disaster! And after playing with the damn phone 3 times at Best Buy I decided that I should had pre-ordered the Black model but the upgrade coupon no longer works.

Sure, I'm not eligible for upgrade until August but since I have always maintained a credit on my account and have good credit Verizon was letting me upgrade after 18months as long as I trade in the phone I opened the line with. On the Verizon site it lets me upgrade early, on bestbuy it says I'm not eligible until August.

I'm wondering if I should order the black s7e or just wait for the note 6. My MXPE is running fine. Idk.

So I am going to preorder another Edge, black obviously, and see which one ships first, don't want to cancel my order for Silver if this is all a system issue, I can't believe they will have zero silver models available, doesn't sound right, tmobile people aleady have theirs.

That's what I was trying to do, but all they let me do was the payment plan. They said I wouldn't be able to keep my unlimited data any other way, did you sign a new 2yr agreement?

No but I'm already on a 3 year agreement since I took advantage of the 10% off per line. It would just be an early upgrade with no extra commitment to my plan. I think I might preorder tomorrow, I'm going to sleep on it.

Totally confused why I can't do that then. My contract is up in September, I bought my phone with an upgrade from Amazon. The first guy I talked to said I could get an early upgrade, but when I called it in they said all I could do was the payment plan to keep my unlimited data, otherwise I'd need to sign a new contract which would make me lose the UDP.

Sucks because I don't want to send my old phone back to them.

I am glad I cancel and went to Best Buy. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to them. I did get the Black version though. That really messes up the VR and S2 promotion, isn't the last day 3/31? And it says while supplies last. I am glad they are handing out the VRs with the phones at Best Buy.
