Verizon preorders getting pushed back

I'm going to try to find out why they do it for some people and not others. I've been a member for 5 years now and never missed a payment and they won't do me a favor. Unfortunately they have me though because I don't want to wait until the phone is 6 months old, I want to enjoy it while it's the fastest phone available.

EDIT: I just re-read your post and saw you are trading in the phone you opened the line with, are you getting the S7 for the full price using the payment plan or the $300 upgrade price?

I just decided to cancel my preorder. I only pulled the trigger to get that Gear S2 and if preorders are shipping late I'm not taking a chance. I then decided to re-order a black model that still shows 3/11 but my UPGRADE coupon does not work for the $100 off. Oh well; back to the iPhone 6S.

Where did you acquire this upgrade coupon if you don't mind me asking, and does it require a new agreement? Bought my last few phones at retail to avoid losing my unlimited data and it's killing my pockets.

It is the regular black S2 not the Classic. But there is some question as to whether it is Bluetooth or WIFI only version. It does say that you don't require a contract for the S2 but it is still an unanswered question. Verizon and Samsung have made this complicated since there are 2 devices with the same name and Verizon is not saying which it is it just says S2.

Payment plan. But with the reduction in monthly line access, and I lowered data from XL to L. I'm actually saving money. I'm trading in a 2013 moto x for a black s7e.

I ordered 2/26, my shipping date has changed from 3/11 to 3/31. Silver, new with Verizon.

The "UPGRADE" coupon worked for people upgrading a line with a new payment plan. From what I heard the coupon was targeted at various accounts (it worked for some but not others). I used it back in January and again when I preordered the S7 Edge. When I use it now it's telling me that you cannot combine coupons (possible the VR or S2 Watch offer). So maybe they closed that loophole or the coupon is completely dead.

I kept my silver pre-order, but also went ahead and preordered a black one on a different line in case. I will cancel one of them, I ordered my silver on the 25th, so if it ships first, I will cancel the black one.

I am glad I cancel and went to Best Buy. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to them. I did get the Black version though. That really messes up the VR and S2 promotion, isn't the last day 3/31? And it says while supplies last. I am glad they are handing out the VRs with the phones at Best Buy.

My order status now shows 3/11 again, phew. Glad this info came out and Verizon clarified what was going on to some degree. I was strongly considering cancelling my order at the recommendations of two different Verizon reps, as recently as this afternoon. Glad I held off just a little bit longer.

Wonder why I can't see my expected ship date? When I check the order it just says processing, please check back for ship date. I ordered a gold edge around 8:30am on the 23rd so hopefully it will be shipping at worst on time.

I ordered a Black S7 Edge together with a Silver S7 Edge at 8:30am EST (preorders started at 8:00am EST), and my expected ship date is also pushed back to 3/31/16.

I ordered mine on the 23rd at 8:05 and mine still shows 3/11 ship date.

I ordered the titanium silver version on 28 Feb and while the ship date did change to 31 Mar yesterday, it changed back to 11 Mar today.

I went in to Best Buy and they told me they are the same way, it's just not posted on their ads; which pissed me off. I wanted the VR and I called and complained to Verizon. I have been a customer for 10 years and never missed a payment and in order to get it they want me to switch plans... not cool. I threatened to leave but after I quoted elsewhere it really didn't benefit me to leave because I am limited in my rural area.
