Verizon S8 - S8 Plus Order Confirmation Board

I tried preordering from Verizon but I have the grandfathered UDP and it wouldn't let me without changing my plan, even with me choosing to pay in full. I tried to call and order by phone but Verizon only does preorders online or in store. So I purchased from Samsung directly, which means I'll probably get mine a day earlier than most everyone from Verizon, I guess I've got that going for me.
Reading through the forums it looks like T-Mobile is the same, G-955U. Sounds to me Samsung finally made it easy to tell that it's the same exact hardware for the US versions.
Same with me, I though we were getting them on the 21st but this says shipping on the 21st and I ordered it on day 1 as well,

Yea, it said that on previous pre orders and I got them at least on opening day, and a couple of times the day before.

Earlier today, my order status was still processing and said "Delivered by 4/21/2017". Since I'm going out of town on 4/20 and won't be back until 4/24 or 4/25, I called Verizon today to see if they had any better details on when the phones would be shipping so I could update the delivery address if they would definitely be arriving by 4/21. The first sales rep I spoke with said it would ship on 4/21. I told her that my order status said it would be delivered *BY* 4/21 and she said that the order status she was looking at on her end said shipping on 4/21 and that she would think it would be here by 4/24. I asked her if that was a definitive answer or if it was still speculation. She said she could check with her supervisor and I said thank you. After waiting over 30 minutes on hold, they disconnected me.
A little while later, I just checked my order status and it now says the status is "Processing" and "Expected ship date" is 4/21/2017. It'd be nice to get some clarification from Verizon, especially since there has been so much buzz on the T-mobile side the past few days. Has anyone else gotten any feedback from Verizon?

Yeah, I got the same, about 30 minutes ago. Maybe I'll call them again on Monday to try to get some answers. If they're going to ship them in time to arrive by 4/21, I sure as hell want them to send it to me where I'll be next weekend instead of going the whole weekend knowing there's a box sitting at my front door.
Wait, Verizon usually ships FedEx, right? And FedEx doesn't usually leave packages at the door. The last thing I want is to get back late the following Monday and have to drive to the FedEx office to pick it up. Damn you, Verizon, work with me

I just received notification of FedEx shipping also. Its coming from Coatesville, PA which is close to me so hoping I'll get it early next week.
Got my fedex numbers for my orders, but like the others it says future delivery requested. We don't know if they will deliver it before Friday. Mine say Thursday but I'm not expecting that to happen..
Mine is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday. It's coming from Coatesville PA which isn't far from me. Now I have to order a case from Amazon 2 day shipping so I'll have it when the phone comes.
