Verizon Targets November 29 as Launch Day for Galaxy Note 2

Like KG said, anything is possible.
But most likely it will be the 29th, as they will go out for actual delivery on the 27th (+2 days for S&H).
The other post was just stating that by the 25 the system exit the pre-order system, and on the 26th they generate labels/have FedEx ship. I wasn't told about the 25th, just that on the 26th they go o ut, 27th they are actually ont he road.
When I preordered in the store the first day, the rep told me that Pre-Orders are shipped overnight. He said that it was going to be shipped the 27, so I should have it the 28. Fingers crossed!

Every rep I have asked said that the use 2 day shipping. Honestly though, when you aren't in a rush to release a phone, why would you pay for overnight shipping? Still though, I hope your right.
You can call customer service asking to preorder the phone and if you ask the right person they will tell you it's the 29th (my credit card had a rare issue denying the Verizon verification charge so I kept trying). One of the guys said it will ship the 27th and arrive on release day on the 29th. Usually it's pretty easy to target Verizon releases because they are 2 days after the preorder ship date (so they arrive at the same point as the phone release).

I hope so too, but is unlikely as they offer 2 day shipping of the most part. I have had reps quote me anywhere from 1-3 days, but obviously on the site it says 2-day shipping on all phones. I doubt they'd ship it overnight out of the goodness of their heart. Most likely if we get the phone a day early it will be because it shipped a day early.
I have been told by CS at least twice that it is 2 day shipping. I would prefer to be proven incorrect on the 28th.
What are the chances I will be able to pick up a gn2 on release day if I didn't preorder?
I went to my local VZW store and asked the assistant manager about that. He said to call the previous day and he should be able to reserve one for me.
I wanted Verizon to offer it sooner, but I am willing to wait for it since they appear to be shipping it with the dual screen function and that is worth it. Otherwise Verizon would have taken 2 months to push that update out, and that would not have worked out so great.
If we had an unlocked bootloader, probably wouldn't have mattered at all.
And I do not know about 2 months with the user base of the N2, it isn't like we are talking about an S3 or iPhone. It could've easily been we have the phone for one month, and meh, if I had to wait till Dec to get this function I would be OK with it as long as phone was in hand at the beginning of the month.
From my experience with Verizon, 2 day shipping is free and when I pre-ordered I wasn't given any shipping options which I was hoping to get AM NBD. Of course anything is possible as some may get it on the 28th. If you do get it early please post up your pics and stuff so the rest of us can drool.
