Verizon Theme Changer

This is how I got the theme changer working without installing Launcher Pro.
Get the application "Any Shortcut" from play store
Open the application and enter the following details
Application : com.lge.launcher2
Activity : com.lge.launcher2.theme.LGThemeChooserActivity
Action: [Keep blank]
Intent : [Keep blank]
Then : create, your shortcut is done !

Now open the shortcut and your theme chooser application will fire up.
Download LG themes from LG Smart World application (not installed by default) and start applying themes.

To install Smart World, open the following link from phone and download the apk and install - http://us.lgworld.com/mobile/common...one.jsp?modelCd=VS986-US&assiFlag=N&tabFlag=N

For anyone saying all not installed make sure you have this for the ending I was missing activity because the XDA app put it on a different line should look like this.

I'm an idiot it didn't work cause I was on nova lol it's lg launcher only I assume

This worked great. I had to do it twice before it worked and I get an occasional error or two in Smartworld, but basically works fine. Thank you.

Hey Vijet, I'm running the 11A update on my G4 and I followed your guide using the Any Shortcut method and when I click the shortcut a toast says permission denied. I've tried using Nova and finding that activity under LG Home but it doesn't show there. Any ideas?

You can choose between the stock ones without smart world installed but got a bunch from a thread in this forum. I also have an apk for stock lollipop

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS WHILE USING THE LG HOME LAUNCHER

Using both LauncherPro or AnyShortcut, those JUST MAKE A SHORTCUT. If you try to launch the shortcut using any launcher other than the LG HOME, it will fail.

These "THEMES" are LG HOME Launcher Themes... essentially Icon Packs for the stock LG Launcher. If you use Nova, then just download Nova Icon packs.

Vs986 13b worked perfect with "any shortcut"...

Anyone know off top where the icons to themes may be located? So i can change the icons manually that didn't change as they werent in the pack... I.E. changing chrome stock to browser gold... Evernote stock to some random gold themed icon that looks like a note or letter...?

...i believe this OP is about as "for dummies*" as it can get.

Read it. Read it agsin until it makes sense. THEN proceed.

Awsome post, I was trying for the life of me to figure out how to change the theme only to find out it was taken or hidden away so I couldn't use the method.

With you shortcut method on the edited 1st post worked for me! LauncherPro kept failing, so tried your second method and worked like a charm.

Recently Aquired an LG G4 from US Cellular with no options to change themes even though it's advertised that way lol.

Currently trying to figure out how to make the shortcut part of appsii so I can get rid of the icon on my home page, currently trying to go for a clean UI with as little junk on the screen as possible.

Whenever I try to install any theme or font using smartworld it will force close or say smartworld has stopped responding. I've checked my security settings and it's all good. Could it be the version of smartworld?
