Verizon Wireless In Store Release Date?

In another thread I was seeing people complaining about preordering the Note 3 from Verizon since they aren't getting the phone any earlier than if they just went into a store to pick it up.

I've yet to see any information about when the phone will be in stores. When I spoke with someone at Verizon they said it wouldn't be available in store until late October. Did I miss something, or are people just assuming it will be in stores on the 10th because that's when preorders are supposed to ship by?

Has there been any official word from Verizon though? Verizon employees don't always have the most accurate information. I think I knew when the Galaxy Nexus would release before anyone at my store..

I just called Verizon, they say they don't know when it will be for sale but I called bestbuy and they said the 4th. Guess we will just wait and see. I live in Memphis,Tn.

On one occasion I was told (matter of factly) the 10th ...
On others I was told no exact date was given as of yet, but the in store release typically coincides around the preorder ship date, which we know is the 10th. So, I think it's safe to assume that the 10th is the day

I was in my local Verizon wireless store today and the gentleman who helped me pre-order said it's shipping date is the 10th. If they come early then he said he would call and let me know. Here's to hoping the rumors of the 4th release date being true.

Verizon told me today on the phone that preorders will ship out first once the final preorder has shipped it will release a date for in store which will be around the beginning of November.... I hope this is not true didn't they do that with the note 2

Not true at all. Verizon is a bunch of F'n assholes. It will be available on the 10th

If you look at the bestbuy wesite it looks as though the Verizon version is available now in store only. I will definitely be checking this out at 10am when they open. If they do have then in stock I will let you guys know.

This. I've already been to bestbuy they says the 10th. Don't even have the phones yet and even if they did they said no way they would sell early due to legality
