I'm suprised this thread does not mention the lcd flex cable breaking problem - this one is serious and looks like eventually happens on all X1s.
Symptom: screen and/or touch goes blank and won't work when keyboard is out - till then you can use the phone without qwerty.
but usually later screen stops working at all and the cable has to be replaced.
the cable is delicate and one thread contains a likely solution to put sth on the cable in the right place to make it last longer (i have it bookmarked somewhere if sb needs that)
