VF895/vodafone smart prime 6 with broken touch and TWRP, can't reset, any ideas pls?

hi all, got a quick and frustrating problem!

a VF895 (vodafone smart prime 6 uk) with working screen and no touch (smashed)

this would be easy on stock recovery but i have TWRP 3.0.0

have tried
using physical buttons in twrp - doesnt work.
usb mouse - doesnt work on this phone for some reason!
google device manager - account password was changed so no access!
fastboot - vol- + power desnt seem to work

i do actually have a replacement touch screen but couldnt get the original lcd off the broken touch without breaking lcd.. lcd currently works.

any suggestions much appreciated. i just want to do a factory reset.

can get into TWRP ok, can boot phone normally and see login screen.
