I just tried it. So far, the only thing special about it is the edit mode. Obviously a very early beta.
The buttons at the top of the screen are kinda too big for my taste.

Also this isn't ICS exclusive. It's for android 3.0 and up.
Does that have any effect on performance and features when used on ICS compared to other launchers that are ICS exclusive?
One thing I noticed is that the Go Launcher HD's app drawer doesn't show your widgets like the stock ICS app drawer. It only has a tab for "GoWidgets".

Nobody said it was ICS exclusive. :) It is for tablets (and I'm afraid most tablets are still running Honeycomb).
The two ICS only launchers (Nova and Apex) are far more buggy for me sadly.
I expect many more features in the coming updates (the Go Developers are usually quite fast), of course this is Beta 1 (or 2 by now) but its working pretty well for me, altough it may not be the one for everyone. I don't know if the Widgets in the drawer will be added at some point, but even if they were, you would still need root access to use that (like with Nova and Apex).

I know nobody said it was ICS exclusive. Not sure why you are so defensive. I was just wondering about the performance and optimization of ICS exclusive launchers vs non ICS exclusive launchers when used on ICS.

As far as I know, there are 3, not two, ICS only launchers: Nova, Apex and Trebuchet. They aren't really buggy, especially not "far more buggy". Anyway you shouldn't be comparing them to Go HD beta in terms of bugs since the current Go HD beta barely even has any features to be bugged.

The stock launcher has widgets in app drawer though. It's one of the additional features of ICS. So I personally wouldn't like a custom launcher on my ICS that doesn't have that feature. Rooting is easy so I don't care if custom launchers need root to enable it.

Anyhow, stop trying to defend Go Launcher against my opinion. This isn't a Go Launcher fan forum.

I'm not defending Go Launcher, you just have your opinion and I have mine. In my case Apex and Nova have had too many crashes and sometimes sluggish screen transitions (Trebuchet, being the standard launcher of CM9, isn't an alternative for my unrooted TF101) but I may try them again (I change my laucher of choice every once in a while anyway), because they definitely offer some great things that are missing in the Go Launcher Beta (although the graphical widget picker is not that vital for me)- on the other hand the Beta also has some nice unique features like the comfortable edit mode, nice editing of folders and the ability to have folders in the app drawer, sorting apps by most used, the built in task manager- probably more to come. I am just interested in the progress of this project, if you don't like it you don't need to use it.

New launchers are always welcome. I'm using ADW for its slew of options I'm am able to get a good setup. I solely use Go Launcher for family members and their tablets because I like the Lock, hide, and task manager abilities.

Will give this a run and see how I like it.

this launcher totally rocks my socks. don't get why horndroid is crying.
go Widgets also look awesome on tablets.

why doesn't the android keyboard auto capitalize? I fully turned it on in the settings.

Wondering if you are using the tablet beta or the regular Go Launcher Ex? When I tried adding the Go Widgets got the message "you need Go Launcher Ex".

Seems a nice launcher, works fine, nice interface especially the one to add icons to a screen, like it !!!

still some issues, adding widgets is not always smooth: sometime widgets appear empty, and the solution is to restart the launcher.

and still it has very little options and customizations compared to the Go Launcher Ex.

Sounds strange, I'm also using the nice Go Widgets (you see the twitter widget in the video) and they work flawlessly.
There's even am option in the tablet beta for them (e.g. the dedicated Go Widgets tab in the app drawer) that gives you a direct link to the market. And when you download one you should have the option to click and hold on one of these Widgets in this separate section and drag it on one screen.
