[VIDEO] Google Nexus 5 - Mounted to Windshield for Track Day

So this weekend I had my second road course track event. In preparation for it, I wanted to see which device I had laying around would produce a good video when mounted to the windshield. Since I was going to use Trackmaster (Android App) to capture video and GPS data at the same time, that's why the phone came into play.

I figured with the optical image stabilization that the Nexus 5 would do really well. In the past the HTC One produced great video. With this application, it must be way too much vibration.

"normal" videos are okay though...

In situations where OIS isn't fast enough to improve an image, it can actually make it worse. I'm wondering if the video would've been better if you had turned OIS off.

I haven't received my phone yet - can it be turned off?

Don't think so, at least I've never seen the option.

Don't think so, at least I've never seen the option.
Yeah I didn't see it either. I don't think you can with the HTC One either.

Here's the GS4 video that I captured over the weekend. I did bump up the saturation, but you'll see vs later in the video that the colors weren't as good as the GoPro Hero 3.
