Thank you for the videos. Walked me right through it until I get to installing busybox, where it just hangs. I've tried three different su.zip and three different busybox installers, so I'm guessing that I'm not really rooted even through busybox installer says that i am on the main screen. I'm sure i'm just doing something stupid or missed a step and would greatly appreciate any further help.

If root checker app says you have root then you are rooted

Finally got the install to go through, then I got a message saying the ROM was not valid. Is that an easy update?

Hey Tomsgt, Thank you for your videos.. I for one still am using my Incredible and have come here to try and keep it alive as I have an unlimited 3G data plan. I hope by your comment it does not mean there will be no more great ROMS for this phone... I do have one question though.. is Carbon ROM still availably and if so can you help with a link? I want to give it a try as I am mostly interested in making my phone work better.

Finding the HTC sync file? The droid incredible is not an option on the HTCdev page... is there another way to get this file

I could not get to page 2 kept telling me I had to log in again then errors out in confirming disclaimer. Had to select All other supported models to get to the screen where you past the token. At least that worked and I got the unlock token just fine. With the commands from the video was able to unlock my boot loader. Thanks for the information.

My mom still has it, its her first smart phone, when she gets a new smartphone the day of I'm rooting it then when I get a new phone I'm rooting my rezound or maybe in a couple days I might root it, upgrading later this year, sometime soon, but thank you for the videos any ROM that you would suggest the most besides the carbon ROM anything smoother or just better?? Thanks

On this device Carbon rom is the best but on other devices I would check out cm11 or aokp
