You mean like read a .cue sheet? I don't know where to begin and I'm not interested in starting a downward spiral of Sony™ Music development. I'm just sharing the apps as they are released with the one addition of the libraries being copied from the apk and installed along side the app which seems to help certain things. I just provide this as a great alternative free music player for users seeking one. :good:

I've recently purchased a Jabra Rox Wireless. It sounds great, supports Dolby so Viper Atmos is perfect with it. Is there anybody who has Viper profile or settings for it? If yes, please share.

I replicated Audiophile's headset settings for Bluetooth, but the bass is too loud I think and I can't establish a good balance yet. So if anybody has a good Bluetooth headset profile, please share.

Anyone else running a CM13 based rom having issues with lockscreen visualizer? I tried flashing the fix that was posted but no luck.

Looks like its something with my rom and/or my various apps/modules. Wiped my system and caches and reflashed my rom etc. and didn't install any Viper packages and the visualizer still doesn't work.

I know I'm late so I'm writing just for the record, in package "ViperAtmos 5.1 Sony Beats Edition" I found the files you listed with permissions all set wrong; I changed them manually and it all worked flawlessly again. Viper didn't have any issue, all other files were good.

The only possible remaining installation method is to now place the ViPER4AndroidFX-2.4.0.1 folder from the extracted zip folder, set the folder/file permissions to 0755/0644, and reboot.

I think he meant to place v4a folder in system/priv-app. If you see any v4a folder on priv-app then replace it with the one you extracted from the zip file. Remember the permission for folder itself is 0755 and for apk is 0644. Reboot and enjoy

but when i try to open Dolby Atmos it's force closes ..why ??? and may i know whats the use of this app????

I did.

deleted viper4android folder from system/priv-app
extracted zip into sdcard
navigated to viper4androidfx-2.4.0.1 folder
selected the whole folder with .apk inside the folder
pressed "move"
navigated to system/priv-app
pasted viper4androidfx-2.4.0.1 folder there
changed permissions to 0755 for folder and 0644 for .apk itself
rebooted

Did I do it right? If so, did not work.

I have a galaxy s2 on cm13 with root from rom since we cant install supersu, i tried placing viper apk in priv-app with permissions but driver wont install. Then i flashed one of the zips from recovery and even though it says driver installed everytime i reboot it show no driver. Any solution?

It was my first problem when i installed this, and Soft reboot solved my problem. But now i don't need to, because i think i have installed it properly with compatible rom. You can at least try

Hey man are you planning on making ViperAudio Sony Beats for KitKat with the latest viper? Also if not too much to ask, would you please make a xHiFi zip and a Sony Music installer zip for KitKat? Combined FX and xHiFi give unmatched music which my brother is asking me to install on his phone and since his phone is on KitKat i cannot. I would even pay you for such great work but am going through hardships myself.. I am a student and struggling for data packs... Using 2G lol.. But I would certainly save up some money. ?

ViperAtmos Sony Beats Edition 4.5.1. But now i have 5.1 and it works just better. Yes it was, i've been using twrp. I don't know whether it takes effect or not but i wipe dalvik cache & cache first then install it afterwards

That's so weird! All folder/file permissions are automatically set by TWRP except for the two script files which I manually set to 0755 inside the installation.

Disable any stock audio effects:
Settings > Apps > Menu > Show System

Absolutely, the thought of KK versions of those never crossed my mind! I'm still sick as a dog today but took the day off so I'll get right to it!
