I apologize for that, I found the typo in the script. :good:

I also apologize for forgetting about N6 Marshmallow's libeffectproxy.so not being compatible. The Omega zip below has the HTC 10 libeffectproxy.so whose system I've been working on all day which explains my absence. Sorry, I just get so absorbed at times lol! :good:
This is the post where dev has shared it.

I've been dabbling with these builds and profiles for about a week. I'm running them the N920p note 5. I'm using your tweak. Prop and Viper eXb Omega.

Wow. Just a loss for words. Devs in this thread you guys are freaking amazing. My music has never sounded so good. :good:

Okay, now I'm officially confused. Could someone help me with my questions below -

1. I see multiple versions of ViPER floating around which are not mentioned or present in the OP. For example, 4.8.1 and 4.9 (which showed up when I searched the thread). I know that everyone recommends the 4.x versions over the 5.x versions because they sound better. Is that correct? If yes, which 4.x version is the latest one and should be used? (ROM: DU with Pulse).

2. Currently, I'm already using the Viper|Atmos 4.8 with my DU. How can I switch from this to ViPER|Audio or ViPER|DD+? Just flash on top of the existing installation or something else is needed?

I have Nexus 6p. I flashed viper omegaezb.zip. I then created a tweak.prop folder on root of SD card. Then I flashed tweak .prop zip and it made a backup of my build.prop. but there were no changes made to my build.prop. is there something else I need to do? And thanks I'm trying.

OK. I added the tweak.prop lines to the tweak.prop folder I created on root of SD card from post 10011. Then flashed the tweak.prop zip. All is correct and the lines were added to my build.prop and a backup was made of my original build.prop. now all is correct. Ty for this.

Hey @guitardedhero, got a xpost report for ya:

After testing every incremental version so far, I tried a clean flash and installed "ViPER ExB SBe alpha" from this post in the ASD thread... and it's working, with every build.prop tweak I had migrated to tweak.prop and double checked working as well.

I'm very pleased! Hearing another echelon higher quality after 4.8 is exquisite. Bass is powerful but clean; trebles crisp but not shrill; voices fully realized without muddying.

I look forward to testing future builds of this ViPER ExB SBe if/when they're available - I see some work being done with HTC10's files and I'm excited to see how they behave on HTCM9.

As always, thank you for your hard work and glad to see it's never done! :good:

Guys there is a viper atmos 4.8 extreme beats aural maximizer that don t use tweak.prop method but the old build.prop like 4.8 in op or 4.8.1 ? I ask this because I don t have problem on nexus 6 with compatibility, and the "classic" method is more direct for me (without create folder in sdcard etc.) Thank you!! I m still on 4.8.1 and it rocks :D
