I still have no idea what to do with this tweakprop.

Busybox is also installed in /bin/su

K... First click the 'ViPERAtmos4.8-eXB-Aural Maximizer link in my signature below, select the same V4A_zip from the post within this same link . Once downloaded using a file explorer extract the 'TweakProp' folder from within the ViPERAtmos4.8-eXB-AM-E_zip and place it somewhere in your /SDcard for safe keeping, this is kinda like a tweakprop-toolbox. It contains the 'TweakPropPreparation' folder and an 'QuickSetup.txt' file, both these combined contain the install instructions and implementation info for proper use of the tweak.prop mod.:good:

wow, haven't been to this thread for a little while and stuff's getting all crazy around here now :p

first off, thanks for this....been using it on my n6p for a while now...perhaps i should catch up with what's going on with project when i can

but i would like to ask if anyone using a Nexus 9 has had success installing the drivers. I've tried several different versions of the app, including the aio fix (which seemed hard to find). I know it's been mentioned that a few others had problems installing drivers, even found a fix for that posted here that was supposed to be compatible with the N9, but i've had no success. Also, yes, i've granted permissions to storage. Using purenexus rom atm, w/elemental kernel

thanks in advance

I flashed VipereXB_Alpha and there is now a tweakprop folder in storage/emulated/0, so in order to use tweakprop, just follow the instructions in quickSetup.txt? And will it work with what I flashed? I mean it must casue I did not put that folder there, LOL!

Also, do I just take everything in my build.prop and copy paste it to mytweak.prop without removing the BACKUP line right? Then the rest I think I know, I just do not want to mess up build.prop

So i am able to load effect profiles, but when i try to change impulse response it says "The IR sample directory /storage/emulated/legacy/ViPER4Android/Kernel/ is empty.. Now if i try to move any files into that directory it fails, i've tried changing it's permissions to 777 but root explorer force closes. I'm on ViPERAtmos ReDUX 8A, i must be doing something wrong..

You dont need to copy anything from your build.prop over to tweak.prop, just look inside the 'TweakProp' folder I mentioned earlier, there are various tweakprop tweaks inside (ie.) ViPERAudio.prop, ViPERSony.prop & (ALSA)Suggestedtweak.prop, you can simply rename any of these to 'tweak.prop' and place them directly at the root of your /SDcard, Or just copy&paste your chosen tweaks from within these files into the 'mytweak(copy).prop' file, Once done rename 'mytweak(copy).prop' to 'tweak.prop' and place it at the root of your /SDcard, then simply reboot into twrp and flash the 'tweakprop.zip', this will automagically transfer your tweak.prop tweaks onto your build.prop.
The build.prop.backup is just a copy of your untouched build.prop incase you want to revert changes you made with tweak.prop.

Ok I just added them directly to build.prop but my question now is that in my sdcard it won't let me delete the tweakprop folder. It just a folder right? I have root too but every time try delete it fails.

I've been completely consumed the last three days non-stop, working with the HTC 10 system. I had to be away from the boards so I could try to get something for you guys. There is some really cool stuff I learned while working on this system and you guys should really enjoy this one!

More details later, still not off work yet. :good:

Hi Bruh!
Sound pretty great so far! Still gonna play with the setup a bit more to test.
One thing though, DU Pulse is completely missing.

Grab the cwm.SDcard.fix.permissions.zip from this post > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66565733&postcount=9915
It should solve that issue, keep it hand as it is very useful little tool.:good:
