Hi Bruh!
Sound pretty great so far! Still gonna play with the setup a bit more to test.
One thing though, DU Pulse is completely missing.

It should solve that issue, keep it hand as it is very useful little tool.:good:
Test with no vendor audio_effects and with only vendor audio_effects. I'll get that corrected this evening. :good:

Delete from Recovery and done
Flashing to /data/media without a single issue can be the hardest thing for me lol!

I just tested alternating with & without /System/etc/audio_effect.conf.bak & /Vender/etc/audio_effects.conf.bak, Pulse still not working.
is this the vendor audio_effects.conf you are talking about?
Also, do I need to do a full reboot or is just a hot-reboot enough when testing with a .bak modification?

Builds are coming so fast while I'm downloading one another is already out. You're quick, son.

How did that N2 build turn out, booted?

Hey @guitardedhero,
After getting that ViPER ExB SBe alpha working, I saw this and couldn't resist. Clean flashed and it seems to be working (I'm not experiencing the "clicking" issue here) but the V4A driver install is refusing to stick. I have libV4A_fx_ICS.so in /system/lib/soundfx and the modified date is consistent with the install, but V4A isn't "seeing" it. Tried toggling storage permission, tried a couple reboots. Any chance you have a flashable 2.3.4.0 SQ Driver to fix this for the time being?

Full reboot, that helps me determine if one or both need the same changes. Appreciate it man, I'll restore Pulse in a bit! :good:

@guitardedhero this is great I love it. You could install viper atmos you advise. Sorry my English if I do not express myself well

Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA-Developers mobile app
The native HTC 10 Dobly Atmos is included. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't port the Dolby Atmos GUI that inbeds itself in HTC's Settings.apk to work as a regular app. I need to borrow a computer for sure. Don't worry, I've got some ideas and surprises about what's already in the mod and what's coming very soon! I had to remain undistracted and it took longer than I anticipated to have something to share with you guys so I wanted to do that as soon as it was acceptable to me. :good:

Holy WoW...all I can say is...neighbors be damned

You've done it again man! Could not be better if you ask me, but I know you'll find a way to top it.
Thank you very much man, more surprises in store! :good:

Working on N Preview?
Thanks!
Built on Nexus 6 Android N Preview2. :good:

Spoiler!

During extremely exhaustive testing, I found that many of the normal N6 N2 libraries and effects sounded better than the HTC 10 ones like libeffectproxy and libbundlewrapper for example so there are several of those in the mod. :good:

That's good to hear, I was stressing out thinking it was taking so much time. I purposely avoided the threads as much as possible until I had something to share which took longer than I had expected. And no, the damn thing didn't boot and I haven't touched it since then lol! :good:

Fixing right now, thank you for bringing it to my attention (oversight). :good:

All devices except HTC until I post the corrected builds. And then working on Pulse restoration. What profile or settings are you testing?

Not quite yet, I wanted to provide something for you guys before we "break ground" and waiting on Ben's thoughts on this build. I've been a recluse for a couple days since it wasn't falling into place at the start. ARISE Sound Systems thread in Android Software Development section will be live this weekend, possibly tonight! :good:
