Gotta say this makes my OG Nexus 5 sound like the big boys. Especially with the surround sound mod.
:good:I already have it. Thanks a lot!![]()
There's too many changes I'm afraid, especially Dolby changes. This is obviously the biggest weakness of a rom with a sound mod. I was going to wait until the official release to update that rom but I'll do it tonight with 0.9.3. Now's the time to out in any requests! :good:Guitardedhero, you can upgrade arise 0.8.3 to 0.9.3 on your custom rom by just flashing it over?
If it'll be too much work and the official not final, I can wait. I don't know about others using the Rom tho, their ears might be itching for 0.9.3. Most of the stuff I want are working I don't even know what to request. What you think would happen if I did flash 0.9.3 over, loop fest? What can you add to the Rom tho? Only thing I'm looking for is cataclysm mod but I've heard it doesn't work too well with may marshmallow update. You pretty much have it covered with the features. There's a root power menu but since it needs root it's not a good feature for the masses. There's too many changes I'm afraid, especially Dolby changes. look in /data/media/legacy Your Viper4Android folder should be there. If not, click some stuff in Viper and save profile as Test or something, then check data/media/legacyOK, installed arise 0.9.3 with suggested tweak.prop
I notice there are no audio profiles. Do I need to copy them or are they no longer needed?
I stopped including those in the installation because of odd permissions issues but I finally figured it out. You can flash the zip below or just move its contents into your working v4a directory. :good:OK, installed arise 0.9.3 with suggested tweak.prop

You're absolutely right about the itch. Honestly, I thought the official OP would be a week old by now. I think the rom would make a great release for 0.9.4 though! :good:If it'll be too much work and the official not final, I can wait. Nope. It's OK. Thanks. I prefer the new beta version! (9.1.9 A1.0):good:
Do you still want 9.1.9.A.0.1?

Would be a great release for sure. The final might be in the 9s? Maybe a new version of N might rise up by then tooI stopped including those in the installation because of odd permissions issues but I finally figured it out. Check permissions in app info page (settings>apps). When I first went from LP to MM, the biggest issue was permissions. Also, if you have any issues with other apps (TB being one if I remember right) check permission. Several apps I had to manually set. Also, for working Viper4Android directory, check /data/media/legacy If it's not there, create a profile in Viper and save as new profile, naming it Test.Hi @guitardedhero, I've just upgrade my rom to android 6.0.1, clean installation. And then I flashed Arise 0.9.3 and ViperAudio is not processing at all, and load effect doesn't work too, and i flashed ViPERAudio Audiophile 4.0 Profile (TWRP).zip and there was an error too. I tried to reflash 2times the rom but no success. Maybe it's a problem related to the rom, i don't know, what can I do to maka it works. It was working very well with android 51.1.
Thank you
I checked the permission, It's processing now, but the effect can't be loaded, the Viper app says that the Viper4Android directory is empty, or it is not empty. all kernel and profile are inside Viper4Android directory. and about Audiophile profile, i downloaded the flashable zip not the extract only one. It can't see the impulse Response too, or Viper4Android directory is not empty at all.Check permissions in app info page (settings>apps). For Audiophile profile, check to make sure it's flashable and not the "extract only" one.

When i had that problem i removed V4A and deleted all V4A folders from system . About three V4A folders in total i found .I Viper4Android directory is empty, or it is not empty. all kernel and profile are inside Viper4Android directory. and about Audiophile profile, i downloaded the all.
MM uses a different path. Check /data/media/legacy. For most MM roms, it no longer uses /sdcard/legacy/0. Just copy your Viper4Android to /data/media/legacyI checked the permission, It's processing now, but the effect can't be loaded, the Viper app says that the Viper4Android directory is empty, or it is not empty. all kernel and profile are inside Viper4Android directory. and about Audiophile profile, i downloaded the flashable zip not the extract only one. Deeper bass.. Still great better than 9.4 to me.
