I dont have Atmos (and I dont like it, tbh.), but I dunno (really) what is causing this.

I like atmos personally because I have a higher end pair of headphones and a powerful car sound system (big audiophile) and I feel using it with some minor boosts on top of my v4a profile is the icing on the cake for my needs.
But yeah I really have no idea either. It's random, and we're literally 1 day into official Oreo. Things will be sorted out, I'm not worried

The thing is, I have Shure SE535, and the sound signature is like that awesome, that the only thing I (most of the time) do, is putting in dynamic system. Never tried Atmos with the Shure Headphones before...

Those look nice. To me, in ear headphones there's not alot you can/have do to boost your sound. I have a pair of V-Moda Crossfade LP's. Larger over the ear/studio headphones with bigger drivers have a larger sound stage you can tweak to their full potential. For me atmos helps reach that, I don't rely heavily on atmos itself, just to give my music that extra "oomph" it suits my needs.

No clue what I'm doing wrong. I've flashed ARISE and nothing shows in the app tray. I can see the profiles installed in memory and I see Viper4android.apk but i'm lost. I miss this mod so much nothing can be easy lol. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix? I can't even get busybox to install.

Debloat first if you haven't. Start out at Google input/keyboards of other languages, and especially Google apps you can download from the play store like chrome, maps, photos etc. Also, normal busybox installation method doesn't work on O, but it is not necessary to be installed for arise components to work.

I can certainly debloat, but how would that affect the installation from going through?

As stated from the arise installation script, it can need 300mb+ free space in /system to complete installation. If the system is full it can't fit the necessary arise libs and apps necessary to function.
Thanks. Looking through the folder and I wish I had a better idea what to delete lol. I see this going sideways on me!

Mainly go for the big Google Apps you can download from the play store instead after you delete from system. First try Chrome, maps, photos, YouTube and reboot, that is probably enough to get the space arise needs.

I was able to create enough space and it installed just fine. Unfortunately I can open VIper and change all the settings but nothing actually works.

OK, I finally got it working, and I do notice differences when I change some settings. However. I used to get seriously good changes to my sound output with convolver. specificall UREI 1189.irs
Now Convolver does absolutely nothing.
