Thank you. Working great on CM12s. You have to set selinux to permissive on every reboot though
How do you change the selinux since the app was removed from the app store?Thank you. Working great on CM12s. You have to set selinux to permissive on every reboot though
That's what I also use for viper. I can't stand that with maxxaudio when you turn it on it turns everything on. I want the equalizer with a separate off setting.I used Viper on 4.4.4 but my new 5.1 ROM, Euphoria comes with CM12's AudioFX which works for me. Is Viper simply better because of all the customizations? Do you guys use all of the options? I'm only asking because when I used it I only used the Viper BASS and Viper Clarity.
Play a song in your music player and click "Driver status" in V4A. If it says Processing: Yes, it is working. If it says No then its not.I was able to download the ViPER4Andoid FX from the Play store, installed and when I opened installed the drivers. Seeing the posts above I hope that it works, any way to verify?

On 4.4 is fairly easy. Download the latest 2.3.4.0 .apk (for ANDROID 4 - because there is also one for older android versions like 2.3)Hi Everyone,
I have a Oneplus one with kitkat 4.4.4 (Cyanogen OS 11.0-XNPH05Q) on it.
I would like to try this Viper4Android and install it on my mobile phone.
I don't have a lot of experience with the Android's world and I need to know what exactly I have to do.
Could you please help me?
Thanks.
Why are there 2 apks in the zip file?On 4.4 is fairly easy. Download the latest 2.3.4.0 .apk (for ANDROID 4 - because there is also one for older android versions like 2.3)
Install the .apk (check Unknown sources in settings) from a file manager
Open V4A app - it will ask for installing drivers - click yes, select quality and reboot
After reboot enter the app, and play around with the settings or search XDA for presets and files.
Well, I told you earlier. One is for Android 4+ and one is for older android versions. You need the new one.Why are there 2 apks in the zip file?
Thanks
I see the "ViPER4Android_FX_A2.3" apkWell, I told you earlier. One is for Android 4+ and one is for older android versions. You need the new one.
Right. 4.x is the correct fileI see the "ViPER4Android_FX_A2.3" apk
and
ViPER4Android_FX_A4.x
Therefore, the second one should be for my Oneplus with kitkat. Did I get it right?
Just another question.
Does it work with any music player app? Did I somehow need to set it properly in any music-player app like N7 player or Poweramp?
Thanks again.
In SELinux make permissive as permenant ,if you change that from enforcing the viper will stop working , evey where it is not mentionedI believe it's because of the vetaetmr..
Set it to Permissive instead of Enforcing using SELinux Application.[/url] and let me know if it work's or not![]()
The link doesn't work. There isn't any App in the play store with "SELinux" in the name.I believe it's because of the SELinux mode..
Set it to Permissive instead of Enforcing using this Application. and let me know if it work's or not![]()
