I have just upgraded to latest vivid rom and upgraded the launcher to the latest....
Spotify álbum art is now shown in the media player
Steering wheel works as intended for local/radio/spotify
I haven't tried the valet parking option.

Very well done guys with your last version.

Just a thing:
For.my case of Mazda cx5 ....why only model 2017 is available when no headunit is ready for mazda cx5 2017? At least dasaita sells unit compatible with 2012-2015 cx5
Perhaps you have to change that particular model and align with the ones that are sold by the manufacturers

Thanks for your feedback and help all the way, we are keep improving. We did support model 2017, the model selection right now is only for naming show(for historical reason), we may want to support specific model can function in the future. So that should not be a problem, lol

As far I know zlink requires that the unit started Hotspot for wireless carplay/android auto...so keeping wifi connected to the phones wifi will.lead to never connect to zlink


The correct behavior should be an option of the behavior of zlink:
If automatic keep as it is
If manual only when opening zlink force the units Hotspot wifi started but when exiting zlink then avoid autoreconnect zlink again by forcing Hotspot from unit be disconnected

Thanks, I will try again through zlink to see if I can find a workable solution. As it stands it is so frustrating when jumping from one to the other especially when driving. Here is Australia, it is illegal to touch your phone whilst driving unless it is afixed, which means pulling over to get the whole thing working again. It seems like I am doing something wrong, however what I would love is for it to just be seamless and connected when going from one to the other and back and forth etc. Even just a pop up to say wifi disconnected would you like to connect to such and such network would help me.

1. Bluetooth music paused when press menu or open any app. Or using any app and press to comeback to home. It paused music. Sometime pause sometime not. Only happend on BT Music, Local Music work fine. I guess this is a bug.

2. I like to hide vivid music widget, but in the previous version 4.11.3321, even set the widget was hidden, it would still slide down to show name song a few seconds when another song is switched. I like that, is it possible to restore the way it works like previous version?

1. Can you move the Bluetooth button to the home screen to look like this? It will be more convenient while focusing on driving. It will only take 1 touch to switch to Bluetooth instead of 2 actions in the current version.

I have updated to the Vivid Dec.06 2021 - 4.11.3327 version on my Max10 PX6 headunit. I am still NOT able to invoke split screen. I have long pressed the recents icon in the taskbar but it does not react. Only allows single press but dragging and dropping windows does NOT work either. Please advise if there is a setting that needs to be turned on to activate the long press function.

Could be this implemented on vivid launcher?
I don't feel that zlink team could add the automatic/manual option on their app as AFAIK their support is insignificant

#1. Did you operate the app on your phone or headunit? We tried on the headunit when the phone was connected with BT to Headunit, but we did not reproduce the issue. Please provide your version and it is better to provide the video .

#2. We will consider to do this if possible

For your suggestion, they are different concept, but we will consider to do this later.

Thanks and did you use the Rom which dasaita provided and only update the new APK? If yes, you should ask dasaita to update your rom. Only update the APK may not resolve your problem.

you guys should open a bug tracker were people can easily post bugs they find..and see which bugs have been fixed which haven't...instead of people having to browse hundreds of forum posts here on xda

and make it simple to post bug reports...use a captcha instead of forcing people to login to some new site

I like the homescreen to be an overview. The option to display my current GPS speed, without having navigation open, is something I'd find informational and useful. On the other hand; I couldn't care less for weather widgets - I'm driving, not strolling through the country side.

Gps speed + Speed limit like in Fcc Launcher is very handy if you can´t remember how fast you are allowed to drive... ;-)

Will speedometer show on old basic home screen? Or new? I using launcher only not have new homeacreen. If possible to show on basic home screen, can it show near by map?

Monitoring the speed could be useful for implementing a variable volume algorithm according to speed. Once you are monitoring the speed...adding a globe over the map with the speed could be just an option
