The source isn't switched, radio just starts playing and Apple Music in my case still plays. You probably have TA enabled.
AF doesn't switch source.
Anyway i made some more progresses and fixed other stuff.
I'll post a new version tomorrow.

I'm wondering the same issue. Is it possible to turn off the air conditioning section of the vehicle's normal launcher? . Air conditioning is not automatic in my car.Hi, I'm trialling this launcher in a vertical mounted YT5760B device in a GM Astra J car. The bottom tool bar chops into the play/pause options. Also am I missing something here...but can't see an option to navigate and find mp3 files in the device memory so still have to use the device's default player. Is that how its meant to be??
Please try this:The source isn't switched, radio just starts playing and Apple Music in my case still plays.
First of all it would be always better to disable the default radio app? Thanks, that works perfectly. However when I try to use Wheelkey Study, I can't change the binding of the radio action to call NavRadio instead of the default radio app.
Is there a way to do that?

Then i need to know what kind of HU you have..
The default app can be disabled in factory settings (password is 116).Just switch radio option to off. Thanks for the fast reply. It's a Dasaita HA5476 with the Vivid11 ROM.
The default apps appear to be hard-coded into the ROM and the disable option is greyed in the app config screen. They allow you to change the map key binding but all the other ones are locked down.
So I'm just wondering how people create the "hooks" when the default binding is not what they want.
Again, thanks.

I don't know if that will be enough or you need a custom ROM like Hal9k for buttons bindings.
Sorry but I don't understand....Overall the stock Vivid11 ROM does really well. I just need to change the hooks for radio and audio mode switch. But it doesn't look like anyone has an audio switcher app that actually works without losing track of which app has the audio. Which is why I just want to bind Navradio to a button so I can at least control it that way. Thanks again.![]()
Sorry but I don't understand....
Do you mean that when you switch app it loose the audio focus?
When you start a player or whatever app that has audio it automatically gain the focus and it can loose or duck it depending on which other source you will switch too.
Vivid service control this audio management.
You need to use this special version of Vivid to run NavRadio:I'm saying I like NavRadio and want it to be the default radio app but Vivid wants to use it's own radio app inside the launcher. Even if I install a different launcher like Nova I can't disable Vivid unless I force close it every time I reboot my HU.
Can someone tell me if the latest ROM version has any errors? Especially on the home map, names and logos of radio stations...
thanks
I have the latest one. I don't see any specific changes. It's like the previous version, I think. Every now and then VIVID restarts, but quickly returns to the previous settings. NavRadio works as before. It is a pity that there are no concrete changes. I hope that VIVID will continue to be supported because it is a nice project

Are you using it?
So i guess the launcher is a system app and not a normal user app?Vivid pushed out an update which brings its own launcher to version 5.10.3468. I can't apply 3466 without rolling back, and I can't roll back without a factory reset of the HU. I will probably do this over the weekend.![]()
Is your unit an mtcd or any other supported platform by vivid? If not....it could be the issueHi! I have installed Vivid on my Android radio PX5. I like the app but the radio doesn't work. The local stations are shown but there's no audio. Is there anything I need to do? Thanks!!
It is a well known bug that has not been solved
Vivid is nott just a launcher. Ita has some.features that are integrated into the compatible headunits in order to control radio app as multimedia source as well as bluetooth media and calls. It is an Android 12 head unit with who knows what Phoenix Automotive loads on there to work with my Infiniti G37. Perhaps I ignorantly assumed I could just load Vivid launcher in the above space and keep my AC control keys. I was just experimenting and wanted to test Vivid as it looked so much more visually modern and beautiful compared to the meh UI on the original.
I do think I should have the option of at least testing it and the continue/accept buttons being under the UI elements stop me from doing so. It really makes no sense to me to not automatically continue once you connect to a working wifi. I cant remember the time I've used an app and had to step 1 connect to working wifi step 2 continue; they always just proceeded to the next step.
