Voice commands on deodexed debloated rom

Using My computer Doctor rom s voice search and Google search work fine.

The problem is when trying to activate voice commands to take pictures or answer calls the feature doesn't work.

I'll clarify that the settings app allows me to turn these functions on. I also get the microphone icon when using the camera. The voice commands simply won't work though.

Is there a way someone running stock or anyone using a rom where this functionality works can compare files? I'm assuming there is something missing here. What controls these commands? Trying to think of what could have been removed during debloat process!

Thank you in advance to whoever looks into this. I'm trying to figure it out and I'm baffled.

S voice apk is in the system/app folder so perhaps missing a library? Help help help!

I have been looking into this, and it seem as tho these images are called directly from one of the framework.jar files.

One user was able to find a work around by deodexing the SystemUI.apk, and replacing the LocationController.smali from a deodexed AT&T rom.

I have gone through the factory LocationController.smali tho, and am not able to find where it actually calls for this. That why I believe it may be looking at another framework file somewhere.

For now, your option are to just make the image transparent, leaving the "gap", or flash the deodexed fix in the theme section.

I'm running a deodexed rom. My issue isn't the image of the microphone icon in the camera app. That disappears when disable voice commands in settings. My issue is that when voice commands are enabled, they don't actually work. Does your fix resolve this issue?

Hoping to get this resolved as soon as possible, hate to have to switch roms because of something that hopefully has an easy fix.

Reading through other threads it appears as if users that are running beans new rom are experiencing the same issue. 2 different roms and developers, both seem to be debloated.

Looks as if while the devs were debloating the rom, the removed a little too much language support. Does anyone know where the language packs are stored? IFAIK it is in the systemui.apk. Now could current users just swap this out with a systemui.apk that hasn't had language removed? Or could we get a flashable universal fix for deodexed roms? Any dev up to the challenge?

Since this Issue didn't get resolved after a few days I resolved it by downloading and installing the VZW Stock Root De-Odex - I545VRUAMDK from Scottsroms website, then used the following Debloat list, now Im running a De-odexed and Debloated ROM and above all, all 'Voice Commands' work like a charm:victory:
