Hello, it is normal to not see 5G network at all in manual scan ? (I have a 4G plan). I can't see which 5G network are available in my zone.

When I re-patched March update, I checked VoWiFi only, but now I see IMS is not registered and calling through VoLTE drops me to 3G.
It's weird because I do have all VoLTE setting in menu and enabled.
Don't know if Google did something in background or disabled this or patch simply doesn't work for VoLTE?

5G network will not show up separately unless your carrier has NR-SA (aka Standalone 5G) active. (There are only a handful of carriers worldwide that support it, it also requires a configuration change on the carrier profile on phones - this can be overriden with root and NSG.)

NR-NSA (aka non-standalone 5G) which is currently the usual way of doing 5G relies on the 4G network and attaches 5G onto it so you only see the 4G network in manual scan mode.

It works in beta QPR3. When i get issues like yours usually a restart fixes it. Also if the person you call doesnt have volte it wont be a HD call.

I tried restart, doesn't help.
Numbers which I called before and worked before now not. Only VoWiFi.
Maybe will try again the patch.
Or maybe its realated to latest exynos VoLTE VoWiFi exploit and google disabled?

For Poland - Play, Poland - T-Mobile - finally get worked - need to add new apn - name IMS, apn name ims, apn type ims, data protocols Ipv4/Ipv6.

Restart phone and VoWIFI will work! - With patch, of course - without root! Finally full working phone!

I'm from Greece, carrier cosmote. After 2 security updates and one major update Volte works and didn't have to reapply the patch.

Im on Vodafone Romania, unsuported country. Since latest 2.1 beta i got new modem version. Volte seems to be active but i cant enable Vowifi anymore, and Volte button is missing. Can anyone else check if they can still use the pixel ims app on latest beta? Thanks in advance

Hi, I updated also to latest qpr and VoLTE was working and present out of the box in settings, bot VoWiFi not.
Downloaded latest pixel ims app and applied patch. VoWiFi works again.
P7, Poland Plus.

But 5G still not (it's working for other carrier in PL after latest qpr 2.1 beta)

Yes, does work without any problems. Both VoWiFi and VoLTE.

I don't think this is something Google will fix, they have been doing it the whole time, not just this phone.
