Thank you for this thread. Just the other day, I have successfully turned on the simultaneous talk/data on my unlocked by Samsung Note 8. Yay, I'm finally able to talk and surf data at the same time on both incoming and outgoing calls, and I'm finally able to do it with Sprint! Although, I've read that later this year Sprint plans to roll out VoLTE.

From my understanding, Sprint voLTE doesn't work on unlocked devices. The voLTE that works is for the note 8 from Sprint.

I grabbed the apk for others and it didn't work for those on unlocked devices. Wouldn't even install
I have the unlocked Note 8 from Samsung, and I've got Sprint's VoLTE working on my unlocked Note 8.

So I tried to follow these directions. The LTE+ icon is now enabled on the phone but when I try to go to com.test.LTEfunctionality.VoLTETestUI I get the following errorr: /data/users/0/ org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite/cache/run[2]not found
Hey howie411, it's nemembêtezpas over at Sprint community. Have you searched for (com.test.LTEfunctionality.LTEFunctionalityTest). That's another way to get to "VoLTE Test UI" and to toggle "Set N/W PS voice support" on.

So I tried this on my Note 8. I followed the instructions in message #16:

so for better instructions to ppl,
1)use short cut master
2)Search for enhancedlteservices (should be com.android.phone.EnhancedLteServices)
3)Launch it and enable Enhanced LTE Services.
4)Next go to com.test.LTEfunctionality and launch LTEFunctionalityTest
5)Go to VoLTE Test UI and Enable first 2 settings to on
6)Extra precaution, restart phone

But it didn't work. Nothing changed on my phone. I did not see the CALLING PLUS option under settings. I also tried looking under PHONE - SETTINGS and did not see it there either (I still do show WIFI CALLING there).
I did try rebooting the phone. No difference. Then I tried to make a call and the call did not go through. I tried receiving a call but the phone did not ring. It went to voicemail. So I went back to undo the enhanced lte setting and undo those first two settings under VOLTE TEST UI. I then tried making and receiving calls and the calls did work again. I rebooted the phone again.
So I don't know why it didn't work.
The phone model is SM-N95OU1.
The software is 7.1.1.
the baseband version is: N95OU1UEU1AQI5
Kernel version date: Sep 8.
Security date is August 1, 2017
My service provider is Sprint.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
P.S. By the way the LTE symbol on the top line sometimes shows LTE+. (It's done that before the attempted changes made with Shortcut Master also).
Thanks. Eli.

Oddly your shared instructions only enabled VOLTE on outgoing calls. For some reason incoming calls are still accepted on CDMA not LTE so no concurrent LTE access
