Hi Guys,
After many days of search and trials I found the way to enable VoLTE in Z2 and Z3 in Android 6.0.1 (23.5.A.1.291 )
Here is the method to enable VoLTE ,

Your carrier must support VoLTE service.
Tested and working !
Operator- Reliance Jio, India.

Thanks to @Dilesh Perera @kevev @tititoto

Try at your own risk.

Follow this procedure, ;)

1. Root Access is mandatory.
2. Download attachment Overlay VoLTE apks .zip

3. Go to/root/system/vendor/overlay and replace apks from downloaded zip.
4. Set apps permissions to rw-r--r--

5. open "build.prop" -file from /root/system/build.prop and find this line "ro.build.type=user" and then it to "ro.build.type=userdebug"

6. Add these line in Build.prop to enable VoLTE toggle in setting menu

#VoLTE
ro.mtk_ims_support=1
ro.mtk_volte_support=1
persist.mtk.volte.enable=1
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1

Restart phone now.
see screenshot for no. 5 & 6 for more help.

7. Then u have to find the modem switcher.
its in system/priv-app and its called CustomizationSelector.apk

> download Quick shortcut maker from play store
> make a shortcut using the app
> select customisation Selector \ modem switcher
> click the shortcut u just made.
> open Customization Selector to select modem as shown in screenshot.

After selecting modem phone will restart and you are good to go.

OK, so I'm on Fragment ROM v2 (291) in US on T-mobile. Added Dontbelieve Xperia X Soundmod v20, Gustavo's modified stock kernel (v291) and Cyberian camera v3, and DRM Fix.

Followed steps no problem, and wiped cache/dalvik-art (just in case). Got Modem Selector blue screen worked one time, picked first volte modem. Rebooted automatically, but no volte icon or selection under Settings/(Wireless & Networks) More

Next time tried short cut for modem Selector flashed blue but FC. Cannot access modem Selector now.

Service mode shows Current Modem Config: Unknown.

Thank you for responding. Yes, added lines from #6, and changed to userdebug #5.

I have the Volte in Settings/More/Mobile Network Settings. I didn't look there first time I posted.

Also changed to Germany_trial_volte modem.

Wiping Dalvik-art & Cache allows me to access shortcut Modem Selector only one time. After the reboot, the Modem Selector flashes blue, but not opening (FC)

I'll test it out, let you know if I get Volte icon, might not have it where I'm at now?

Thanks! Everything looks like worked fine on my D6503 with ATT sim. However, the modem to select is the last in the list, and it is buried beneath my Back/Home/Recents soft buttons, preventing me from choosing it. The selector does not change into landscape mode in order to try that. Any workarounds?

Dont worry ! I got u covered ?
Follow these simple steps.

1. Go to system/etc/customization/modem

2. Rename any 1 modem file name starting with z
Eg. Zamss_fsg_sirius_amr_wb_2g_tar.mbn

3. Then restart modem switcher app.

You are good to go ?

No worries, I downloaded GMD Immersive Mood program for root and that did the trick. Thanks!

Have tried many times. And tried different volte modems (but my phone does not have Sirius-volte option). Always original modem is there.

I checked and I am missing two files discussed here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/dev-phone-file-t2869238

Does the same apply to Z3 as Z2? Maybe why I have a problem changing modem.
Lol.. thats funny..
If you are a z3 user then why are u looking for sirrius modem ?

Find amss_fsg_leo_volte_base_operator_trial modem.

I didn't understand, was following your recommendation to select modem software that you circled in red, in first post linked image.

I did try the other volte_base, but it doesn't change for me. I'll try again. Thx.
