Hi,

Can you send me the MBN file you used with the operator Bouygues Telecom?

(I also have a Oneplus 5). Now under Oxygen 10, I tried a file from a Oneplus 5T and I can't get the vowifi, only the Volte.

'these options are activated on my line Bouygues Telecom and worked under Oxygen 9.

Regards,
Hi,

Attached are all mbn for op5, android 10. I wrote the file from /generic/eu/telefoni/commerci/uk/mcfg_sw.mbn.

As i said, vowifi is not activated on my phone for an unknown reason. As i have no use of vowifi at the moment, i didn t go further in investigation. It could be an operator switch missing, as i read that activation is requested for volte and vowifi with bouygues. View attachment all_Mbn_OP5_android_10.zip

Hi,
Thanks for the files.
I cannot activate the vowifi on my OP5 I have this error code on one line when loading the MBN file with Efstool:

Error downloading the file '/ ims / imshandoverconfig'. EFS error. Code = 26

I have the Volte logo, but I think of a bug with my modem when calling, the phone goes to 3G or does not ring.
Do you have an idea?

Hi

for the fun, i flashed the same mbn file, vowifi is now activated, displayed and i could call someone ;) i had to switch off/on both after a reboot, to have a steady vowifi.

Volte & vowifi is ok with eu vodafone netherlands withor bouygues (fr) with latest Android 10.

Hi,
I'm sorry for you. Never had that message. May be you could try to write mbn to second sim and move your sim card to that location.

That folk panoramixmeister had the same error as you did.
Not sure if it's related.

Be carefull with Efstools !
I ended up briking my phone by playing with mbn from O6.
No IMEI, No SIM card available, no Wifi card !
And I got the same message just before the brick ... I had to "dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/modemxxx" to recover.
I'm not an expert on this subject and I would just suggest that you only play if you are in agreement with the loss you can create.
What i have done to succeed is only using mbn from the same phone and test different mbn.
But something that you could verify is to put your phone on "Serial + Full-port switch" and then start QPST.
If you see his serail port (COMx) go up and down ... your phone is already on a bad situation.

Hi,
After a full format of my OP5 storage, I remake the procedure, and now no more error message on the MBN file with efstool.
I'm at Bouygues telecom France, and I used the MBN file on: \ generic \ eu \ vodafone \ volte \ netherla \

I specify that my mobile is not rooted, and it is possible to do it with a little (or a lot) of patience.

Very important : Mostly used the MBN file from the same type of device!
OP5 mbn file for OP5 device only !

big thanks to everyone

best Regards,

The procedure isn't so hard but need to be done properly and with the right file
Conclusion : O5 + Android 10 + French carrier Orange/SOSH, SFR/RED, Bouygues => Vodafone Netherland => VoLTE & VoWifi :cool:

To resume, step to do at your own risk (O5 + Android 10) :
Read https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/guide-volte-vowifi-german-carriers-t3817542
1) w/o root--> open the dialer: *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch (you need to upgrade or downgrade Logkit apk manually)
2) open dialer app and enter *#801# (I suppose you have already the good QUD.WIN.1.1 driver on your PC)
Set Serial and Full-port switch to ON

Read https://forum.xda-developers.com/rog-phone-2/how-to/guide-enabling-volte-vowifi-v2-t4028073
And do Step 2 => Step 3 => Step 4 with Vodafone Netherland mbn file from previous post on this thread.
To finish reboot and ...

Read the previous post with all the details
You are referring to logkit updated.
Where do I find the logkit updated?
I managed to get it working on a rooted phone with magisk, but I want to do it on a non-rooted phone as well.

Working VoLTE/WoWiFi OnePlus 5T (Telekom Germany)

Here are the steps:
1) Very important: Do an EFS backup. Remember my first attempt went wrong...
2) Before you begin: Switch to flight mode!
The next steps are completely at your own risk (OP5T + Android 10) :
3) Read https://forum.xda-developers.com/one...riers-t3817542
4) Open the dialer app and type *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch (Eventually you need to upgrade Logkit apk manually)
5) Open dialer app and enter *#801# (Needed: QUD.WIN.1.1 driver on your PC) and switch Serial and Full-port switch to ON.
6) Read https://forum.xda-developers.com/rog-phone-2/how-to/guide-enabling-volte-vowifi-v2-t4028073
7) Begin with Step 2 - making sure it works, followed by Step 3 - disabling mcfg and then
8) Continue with Step 4 - writing mbn by using the mcfg_sw.mbn file of Telefonica UK Commercial in directory \generic\eu\telefoni\commerci\uk from the 5T mbn repository (All_MBN_OnePlus5T_Android10.zip) from a previous post on this thread.
Then reboot and have fun !

Hi,
after several tests, I have the vowifi and volte icons that appear on the screen but only the vowifi works properly.

As for the volte (Bouygues Telecom) the icon disappears during a 4g call and the call goes in 3g in the classic way.
volte icon should stay on and the call should be clear and instantaneous in 4G.

We believe to be in volte but we are not there!

Any idea on that?

Best regards

Hi,
if your phone is not rooted :
Have you made a 4g volte call since the implementation of this procedure?
Do you have the vote icon that disappears during the call, and your 4g which goes into 3g, despite a volte icon before the call (same when receiving a call)?
Please test it, and come back to me.

however the vowifi works properly.

Best regards,

Not me, all work perfectly, look attached screenshots.

Both options are activated on my Carrier and don't forget to disabled all WiFi settings in WiFi preferences (causing switch Data/WiFi) ;)

Hi,
Your phone is a oneplus 5 ?
Do you have a rooted phone ? If yes, do have you installed voenabler magisk module?
Which MBN file did you use with efstool?

We can see that your carrier is SFR, do you have a Bouygues sim to do the same test?

Thank

Yes i have a OnePlus 5, rooted, VoEnabler, and MBN eu vodafone Netherlands.
SFR/RED Carrier, but i have activated both options by the chat support.
I don't have an another SIM, but i advise to you contact Bouygues/B&Y for activate VoLTE and VoWIFI natively on your SIM/Carrier
