I'm looking for one too.... but as this thread is from 2010 please note chances are if you are seeing my message, dont bother.

the market currently wants $1.61 for this app, and it says it will work only on a custom 1st generation rom.

Perhaps you have this.... go for it, but I suspect most of us wont and want to save you the minute it takes you to look.

...If anyone has an option for gingerbread 2.3.5+ here in 2012, let us know.

Google volume + 1.8.1 you can download a free version from the market or the full version from the development website for free doesn't work very well on ice as well as gingerbread
