Volume increases after message receive

i rooted my phone just days ago with all default software installed, except that i removed a few app that are useless to me like "weibo"

just a quick question. when I'm playing music using headphone, the volume increases after i will receive a message. is this normal?

me too...I'm using ICS stock rom/unrooted of HTC Sensation XE.
