If you didn't get the exact same screen from the exact same model then it won't work because of driver differences in your kernel, you'll have to modify your original kernel to work with the new screen.

To compile a new kernel for your model number you'll have to get the stock kernel source code that your device came with, then modify that to include support for the new screen. What tools you need and how to do it will have to be answered by someone else, I'm not a kernel developer, I just know that in order to use hardware that is different than what you had requires a new kernel because the kernel is what tells the device how to use the hardware components in the device.

You'll have to do some research to learn how to compile kernels, it's quite difficult, especially for someone that has never done it.

It will require trial and error, you won't get it right on the first try, and you'll probably brick your device a few times and have to restore it several times before you get it working correctly.

Find some kernel developers and ask them for advice.

Or get the correct screen for your model to save yourself the trouble.

Or get a new device if you can't figure it out.
