"Icons in Settings" do you mean "Quick Settings" ? If so, there is an option for it.

But if you mean the icons on SecSettings.apk, will be a "not for now". You will see, in a very few days, that there are so many things left to be modded that the actual icons will, for a while, remain the same. In matter of fact, I'm not quite sure if we should change the stock icons set of the app's as they are well known and, what affects productivity, it's better.

Please advise if I've got you wrong and be xtremely welcome to suggest.

AllBacksBlack Enhanced: (2sd post)

Introducing the second step of the project. Now we may start covering the obscured coded areas of Android. For this 1st release we've got:

>> Black Status Bar
>> 1% battery mod
>> Status bar texts set to the selected color
>> Quick Settings panel cleaned from the rest of bluish
>> Quick Settings set to the selected color

ATT: This is all firmware DEPENDENT and, as so, the first released is the one I'm on ML6. If you are in a different firmware is inadvisable to flash it.

If you want the same for your firmware, follow the steps:

>> Dress up your "Guinea Pig" costume

>> From the desired ROM installation ZIP file, extract:

\system\app\SystemUI.apk
\system\framework\framework-res.apk
\system\framework\twframework-res.apk

>> Compress them in one ZIP

>> Place it somewhere in the World Wide Web to be downloaded later

>> Place a post with: firmware version; original thread link and download link.
If discretion needed, the download link can be PM'd but, in this case, WAIT FOR REQUEST.

- NEWER firmwares gets precedence.

- SEARCH the thread before posting duplicates.

- As a good fellow, wait in the line. :good:

>> When service is done, a test version will be posted. 99,3% probability of success.

Omega v17 XXUEMK9 riders ... please make a backup and dress up.

Probably won't work on others MK9 ROM's

I've noticed that Omega had (yep ... I removed for now) animated battery charging icons. Others MK9 I've seen didn't so ... The modifications ROM Chefs are making may or may not have impact. Please report if using this with other MK9 ROM.

What is modded:

- SystemUI
-- Black Status Bar
-- 1% battery de/increase (Omega already have)
-- Status bar texts set to your color option
-- Removes all coded bluish from Quick Settings panel
-- Quick Settings set to your color option

- KeyguardWidget: Clocks and informations on Lock Screen drawn in your chosen color BUT the carrier name (couldn't find him)

- SecCalculator_3d (finally the black panel)

I'm sorry I've been so busy with classes that I couldn't provide you with the files myself.
Imagine my surprise when I logged in today today to upload and found you've already made a release.
Flashed just now, but I'm not able to see any further differences from initial ABB core zip.

I've tried both Green and Red enhancements but they have made no effect to status bar or any other area in my phone.
What changes should I be looking out for exactly?

Also I flashed the ABB core zip once again and then tried once again with enhancements zip... Same thing though, I could not see any difference.

The second post (AllBacksBlackEnhanced) is not device specific, but ROM version specific.
That means you need to have XXUEML6 firmware which is for GT-I9505.
In short NO, don't flash the Enhanced version from second post.

You can flash the core version on either GT-I9500 or GT-I9505, irrespective of version.
In short YES, try the core files (first post) only for now.

The clock, battery, settings button, "no-notifications" bar, basically everything in the notification shade are all Red.

Welcome to XDA

It's very difficult to understand why you can't locate a post that have already seen.

Here on XDA, by default, the instructions and downloads are located in the 1st (initial) post of a thread. This thread in particular, has a secondary development that is housed on the 2sd post.

So, to get there, at the top and bottom of any page you will find some page numbers for navigation. Just click the number "1" or the "<<" icon.

To answer your first question without ANY doubts, you may provide your actual configuration and we can return an OK or not.

If your actual device has the below config, you may have a "go": :good:
- Galaxy S4 (any);
- Android 4.3;
- Rooted;
- ClockWorkMod like recovery;
- Samsung Touch Wizard launcher;
- No other theme installed before AllBacksBlack;

You are completely right and, I wonder, even more than you think. If you've meant ROM as firmware version, no. You are right if you meant ROM as individual developments. Let me explain.

While trying to port the work to MK9, I've downloaded 4 ROM's and all had different mod's already applied by the dev's. (insert_PANIC_smile_here)

Omega v18 has animated charging battery icons built in that the other 3 does not (and I liked it :laugh: ). So, the restore option cooked from Omega sources will surely FC Barebone v3.

So, themers good times are gone. We can not anymore cook in a firmware basis as it is profoundly modded by the devs.

From now on, new releases will be cooked for individual ROMs what unfortunately will increase maintenance and slow down the delivery.
@S1LENT_ , to release this Omega.v18 enhancement, it's necessary to test the restore process. Just reflash Enhanced.TEST again and select "Stock". The expected behaviour is as just ABB core were flashed. Only Enhanced.TEST has to vanish from your device.

We too need OK's for all the package content:

- SystemUI
-- Black Status Bar
-- 1% battery de/increase (Omega already have)
-- Status bar texts set to your color option
-- Removes all coded bluish from Quick Settings panel

Since it's the same base as previous, do you advise to go ahead and flash the Enhancements Zip?
Cos' I have a feeling I'm never going to look at ABB the same way without the additional red-ness
