Thanks a lot for your kind and supportive words. Means a lot and, at end, is what this is about.

With AllBacksBlack I did not intended to deliver a finished theme but an initial canvas where the user, as always, will continue with his own enhancements. So, ABB is way too far the awesome work you've produced with Jet Black and I don't even intend to go that far (just pretend ).

EDIT:for example, the only icons I've messed with were those on top tab's ... just shaded a bit the unselected ones to properly give a contrast.

One suggestion, where you type a message, the background behind that (grey) would look nice black.

Yes, nice suggestion .... I were aimimg that too ... not only the text area frame but the search frame too ... like in "Search Contacts" that I'm having a bad time trying to find that unholy png.

I ended up with users complaining it was too black lol

I've experienced that in S3 version. That's why hardkey, dialog and popup's are #191919 ... It got weird without a minimum contrast.


Again, thanks for your support and I will take your words as an inspiration to do even better.

Flashed your latest version, working wonderfully. All the small glitches such as Play Store pop up are all fixed.

@Rixsta is correct. That's the "selected" or "pressed" .9.png (not sure what is happening in the screenshots, if it's just selected or in the moment of the click)

The problem is, as we saw before happening in xda-app (and not in SuperSU), Grenify is NOT using the system-wide-default-image making your hunting so difficult.

Trial and Error is the dumbest way of doing science but, sometimes, the only one that saves you from insanity.

In these moments, I select a group (lets say "pressed") and stamp white individual numbers on each of them so, when they draw you will know.

mmm, thats either controlled by framework or the apk itself, I can remember which one now.

Try this

framework.res/res/drawable-sw360dp-xxhdpi

Your looking for tw_spinner xxxxxxxxxx

If its in the gallery apk then it will have the same name in the xxhdpi folder..

There may be no need to fresh install but, when possible, please. Do not wipe data!!! No need to!!! "Fresh install" meaning just re-flash your ROM and then AllBacksBlack.

Sad to hear that but sorry, AllBacksBlack only contains jpg's and png's that will not harm any device.

By the way, I don't think that any ODEXED ROM can be themed.

I suggest that you just reflash your ROM without wipping.

Well it did get themed and is working fine what I did is reflashed the stock kernel

its good to have choices? you can call this whatever you one? backs black and little grey?

so heres list what i changed/done:

settings -> those thumbs/switchers are blacker and there is on/off text with blue.
-> divider is gray.

framework -> popup or whatever is now grey instead of that orginal blue.
-> restart and shutdown menu is now grey with whiter top bar.
-> that toast / popup is also grey. (third picture)

contacts -> profile icon is white always.
-> divider is gray.


phone -> those icons are white.
