With larger battery

I just want to know if this will work with the 3500mah battery with the bigger battery door. I'm sure it won't right off, but I'd like to know if I could modify it somehow. There aren't nearly enough pictures of it. I need to see the back for example...

Nope. It won't fit.
I keep the stock battery in my car just for this reason.

By default, the mount slit is upside down. You can rotate it 180 degrees.

I've been using the car mount in my work vehicle and AP far my only complaint is that my headphone jack I use to my aux port in my stereo won't fit through the cutout in the clip. I have to unclip the top and just sit it in the bottom cups of the belt clip portion so the headphone jack can go in all the way. I'm researching to see if I can find a smaller cable or something.

I bought this with my incredible when I first got it. before 30 days was up the clip broke. I took it back and got it replaced. Then a couple of weeks later the new one broke in a different place. I hadn't even taken the new one off the car mount and worn it on my belt. I ended up cutting off the clip and gluing the clip to the mount so that it became a car mount only.

same thing here, just glued that thing... who uses belt clips anyway hahaha

I've had 2 and the first one broke within a week. The clip that hooks into the mount broke and wouldn't mount. The second one I had for a few days before it broke. The one the hinge went. I didn't bother trying to replace it again. They did swap it out, but if two break that quickly, I figure I'll just keep having the same problems.....

add me to the group...the clip's spring mechanism broke...now i keep the 2nd one connected to the mount

For those of you with the VZW mount,

It claims on the verizon web page:

This windshield mount and Holster combo positions your HTC DROID Incredible within easy reach. The unique design holds your device securely in place and allows it to into map mode automatically when placed in mount. Includes window mount and phone holster.

I didn't think that the phone had any way to detect it was in a mount. Is this accurate?

I just bought one of these. Store had it marked at $29.99, I paid $27.

It was a ***** to get positioned on my windshield, and even more of a ***** to position right.

And the M3 sticky thing it comes with is complete ****.

But, 20 minutes later and after figuring it out, it's a nice little car mount.

I had two of these. Both clips broke cause of cheap plastic.
Love the dock but they need to make clip more durable.
