I only got H+ with LG G2 bc AWS isn't activate in Alabama yet.I have the Verizon Note 3 on t-mobile and I got 4G LTE with fast.t-mobile.com. Previously, LTE works with the Verizon G2 too.
I believe its not the VZW version they/we want. Its what we have and we want kick big red to the curb and go with another carrier such as T-mobile using the equipment we already have.I still do not understand why you would want to have a the VZW Note 3 (which is actually my main device) at all?

The VZW is the only one with the hardware, there was a lawsuit that singled out VZW so it doesn't work the other way. VZW is the only carrier choice for all the in-between areas tmo doesn't cover, it's huge.I still do not understand why you would want to have a the VZW Note 3 (which is actually my main device) at all?
But since you can switch a VZW to TMo...
Could you take a TMo Note 3 and use it on VZW?
If so, that is what I would want to do considering the bootloader, just like Frosty was saying, and the lack of a decent ROM! (hint hint to developers)![]()
Ok, so I figured out the MMS issue I have been having (and verified that I can receive picture messages now). I changed the "APN protocol" from "IPv6" to "IPv4/IPv6" this morning and my picture messages are coming in to me. This is super important because I get email to text alerts from work for all sorts of fun things from server down to customer left vmail and if they are larger than 160 characters it was hit or miss on having it come through, so far this morning has proven to be 100% reliable receiving of these message (though I can't sent text to email address which I used to be able to do when I was on VZ but that may be a network issue). Also, in case you're wondering what the missing url in this field here is:More bad news.
I'll try to add it in a way that might be translatable by anyone looking for it.MMSC - " I'm not allowed to enter the url cause I don't have enough posts yet "
Once I put the new ssim card in it seems to automatically turn VZW band 4 on. As far as I can tell it's meant to work that way on T-Mo.@louspinuso thanks for the running commentary, good stuff to know. Maybe you should try to turn off the VZW band 4, tmo probably doesn't have that and it may be confusing to the modem software, as I understand it, that is a forced hack. Otherwise the best I can do is bid you good luck, I may never have the opportunity to divorce VZW but I can cheer those that have!

I tell ya man, I have been trying to get this working for hours now. I cant receive any incoming calls or send or receive any texts. I must be missing something.OK, I think I finally fixed it. I changed the APN Protocol and APN Roaming Protocol both to IPv4 and then restarted my phone. And then I jumped in the shower. And when I got out I was receiving and sending picture messages like a champ.
Not to mention inbound calls were working and the phone showed T-Mobile for my provider and outbound calls work and, well, everything except sending a text message to an email address (though MMS from an email address to my phone works, so that's awesome). And my audio is not all messed up. I guess I just needed to let the damn phone register to the network itself and leave it alone.
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone else who's having problems with doing this. Thanks for listening to my rant and letting me post my step by step here.
Make sure the APN is set correctly. Also global is important. Does the T-Mobile simm work in another phone correctly? It could not be registered on their network right. And definitely reboot when you change the APN settings and wait for about ten minutes.I tell ya man, I have been trying to get this working for hours now. Well. somehow its working now :good::good:Make sure the APN is set correctly. Also global is important. Does the T-Mobile simm work in another phone correctly? It could not be registered on their network right. And definitely reboot when you change the APN settings and wait for about ten minutes.
Good luck.
Good to know my phone can make the switch though I doubt I'll ever be in a tmo area.Well. somehow its working now :good::good:
What is the diff between the ipv4 and ipv6 protocol?
