After I odined back to stock NE9, upon boot, my phone is stuck at the red verizon screen. Any ideas? Thanks!
This happened to me on my Note 2 when I Odin back to stock. I will pull the battery out and reboot to recovery (you should have the stock one) Power, Volume up and Home Button and do a factory reset then reboot. I'm not sure if will work with the S5 tho.

awesome ya i saw my stepdads phone and saw he had ota thats how i found out about it :D

Going forward only ODIN back to NHA now that we have the tar: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712472389
can downgrade to whatever u want i reuploaded all the tars in recovery tar type with data wipe and pit. if snagged from vzw assistant u get recovery tars if snagged from kies u only get cache wipe tars. debeting if i should upload both or just the recovery ones.

awesome now we just need that ni2 tar lmao
If either of you don't mind.. Where/how do you check the boot loader for the increment?
its hard to explain but i will do it in a second and pm u where u can see the difference. its basically 000000001000000001 and if it increments it goes to 000000001000000002 000000001000000003 etc. the first # is a minor number and iirc doesnt affect downgrading but the second number affects downgrading. so far were still at 000000001000000001 make sense?

its towards the end of the aboot right before the signature. ill try and see if i can find actual address in a minute

We seem to have the cache-wipe tars already. I didn't bother pulling recovery ones since most people prefer not to lose their data. Recovery can be useful for emergency cases however.

@open1your1eyes0 I'm on NE9 custom Rom. Can I Odin to the new NHA tar without going back to stock NE9? Just to clarify thanks

Extract aboot from the ota zip then open it with any hexeditor. Use the hexeditor's search function to locate sw_ID1. To the left of sw_ID1 you will see code similar to 0000000100000009. Compare this number 0000000100000009 to that of previous firmware. If the numbers are the same it will allow for a full odin downgrade to the previous firmware.

Phone is running NI2, Stock, Rooted and Safestrap. Awaiting the ROM's for the newest update. This is crazy how fast Verizon is putting out updates. I can just imagine what this is leading up to especially since we can still use Towel Root. Well this is good for us, but it would be better if they unlocked the Bootloader, HAHAHAHA !!!

That NI2 was so fast I was trying to figure out why I did not have the VoLTE Call switch . So I had Odin'd back to NE9 stock .. reset factory data.. let the OTA go and update my system .. thought I was getting NHA again but I got the NI2. Odin'd NCG kernel. rooted.. Odin'd NHA kernel and all worked fine.. So after reading all this here I now just downloaded the NI2 kernel and Odin'd that. I now have the VoLTE Call switch and root, xposed, and Safestrap. All works great. I even set the Wanam hack to show my system as official and got rid of the Custom lock on startup. If I can't have a bootloader unlock.. I am content with what i have .. It all works great.

Thanks to all you guys responding to me regarding this it was nice to have things to check and read. Once again this forum is great for working and finding fixes as always.
