I have updated the first post with the direct Google links to the OTA files for both the 3G CDMA and 4G LTE Xooms. Thanks to forum member graphicsman for the 3G link!

I had my LTE upgraded Xoom rooted and running a custom ROM, wanted to give this a try so I returned to stock HTK75D and relocked the bootloader but I have not received an OTA to any other version (I've tried to force it by using Google Services Force Stop Method). Can I unlock the boot loader, flash a custom recovery and then flash the rest of the IMM76L from HTK75D manually or will that break LTE?

Anyone else with LTE return to HTK75D (the latest published build from Moto for the VZE Xoom) and get OTA to the next version? IIRC when Moto sent the Xoom back from the LTE upgrade they had installed HLK75H but that has not been posted anywhere that I have seen.

Noooooo! ;)

If you upgraded your Xoom from 3G to LTE, you need to flash the images from MZ602, not MZ600. That would be Android 3.2.2/Build HLK75D (not HTK75D). Once you flash those Fastboot images, you should get an OTA to 3.2.4/HLK75F, then to 3.2.6/HLK75H, then finally 4.0.4/IMM76L.

Oops, that was a typo - I am on HLK75D, not HTK75D, but I've still not received any OTA updates. It sounds like I am kinda stuck and have to wait for the OTAs or just go back to a Peter Alfonso custom ICS Rom I was running before.

I'm guessing that using Fastboot to manually flash the IMM76L update will break something since I'm not on HLK75H?

Well, there are no fastboot images for IMM76L, so you wouldn't be able to. When you rooted that stock ROM, did you use the Xoom universal root method? If you did, that's your problem.

Yep, that's what I used. Will do some research on what that means to me. If I have to go back to one of Pete's or Cyanogen it won't be the end of the world, just some wasted time and effort on my part.

Okay, I've read through all the threads on the Universal Root Method and don't see anything about it permanently breaking OTA or not being able to return to stock. I followed the instructions and flashed all the files (boot, system, recovery and userdata), erased cache and relocked the bootloader to return it to the latest published version (3.2.2 / HLK75D) but still won't get OTAs. Any help or guidance in the right direction would be appreciated. I'd like to try the official 4.0.4 build before deciding if I want to go back to custom ROMs or not.

The universal root method uses a modified kernel that makes the boot image insecure so that you can have root access in ADB. The downside to this is that the OTAs don't work because of it.

Sooo...I recommend you flash back to 3.2.2/HLK75D using the stock images from Motorola's website, and DO NOT root. Flash all the OTAs, get up to 4.0.4, then root.

Also, for people who want to continue to update stock ROMs while rooted, I do not recommend that universal root method. Instead you should just download Superuser-3.0.7.zip from http://androidsu.com, flash that, and you're done. You won't have root access in adb, but unless you do something frequently that requires it (which I'm sure few of us do), I wouldn't concern myself with it. Plus, if you root via the method I gave you, you'll be able to OTA your stock ROM in the future with no problem.

Is anyone else having issues with not data 3g/4g? I put 4.0.4 update on but i get no data on my mobile network. Just wondering if its just me or what. Thanks
Some easy stuff to try:

1. Shut the tablet off for a minute or two, then boot it back up.
2. Put the tablet in airplane mode for a minute or two, then turn airplane mode off.
3. Make sure you paid your wireless bill. ;)

If none of those do the trick, we can try some other stuff.

But I DID flash it back to 3.2.2. HLK75D using the files from the MotoDev site and did not root it again. I'm still not receiving ANY OTAs and it's been about 24 hours now.

Hmmm....OK that's really weird. So you're just stuck on HLK75D? Hmmm...looks like you might just want to visit randomphantasmagoria.com/firmware/xoom/mz602 and download the incremental OTA files, then flash them manually either in stock recovery via OTG cable and USB thumb drive, or in a custom recovery.

So I could unlock the bootloader, flash clockwork recovery and apply update.zip from the SD card for each image in order from that website, correct?

Don't know why I don't get the OTAs when others have reported they get them.

Unknown MEID, PRL, etc.

I let the Xoom sit for days and never received the OTA so I went through this process and carefully flashed one update after the other until I finally got to IMM76L but now my "Status" shows "Unknown" for MEIN, MDN, Network, IMEI, ICCID, etc.

Any thoughts on fixing that problem? I'm about ready to just unlock and root it and go back to the custom ICS ROM from Pete but would like the ability to stream movies to it which I can't do if rooted.
