You were able to do this without KNOX!!? If so, that's great. Thanks for the help!!!! :good:
I just realized I don't know if I have knox or not. I mean I am running this build and I followed the instructions. It's been probably 6 months so I don't remember if I set a 0 or a 1 in the config file for it.

No worries. I failed on my first try, but succeeded on the second try by reflashing, keeping KNOX, and doing it in safe mode. However, I bricked my phone by trying to install xposed after I had encrypted it.

I am now going to decrypt, flash stock, and then start over. However, this time I will install xposed framework prior to encrypting. I appreciate your help

I never could get xposed to work on mine...so I left it off.

Well I feel like a dingus. Sorry bud. But thank you for the tip.

UPDATE: I did try without using this rom and got a failed message. I'm going to install the rom that this thread talks about first before continuing.

Hey, I am running rooted PB1 from this thread, with unlocked bootloader, safestrap and twrp installed. Were you successful in installing xposed on this rom? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I grabbed the link from another thread but try this version and be sure SuperSU is updated and that you do a Nandroid before installing Xposed. Also, install the apk first as you normally would but don't open. Reboot to recovery, wipe cache and Dalvik cache. Flash the zip and reboot. It will take some time upon reboot, so don't think you have bootloop because you don't. Not unless it doesn't take....
Use Alpha 4 along with V 80.1

MMS Issues

My phone has MMS issues with this ROM (Deodexed).
#1 MMS are failing to be sent and I suspect that MMS(picture) size is too large for AT&T network
#2 Incoming MMS creates separate group thread that includes person who sends MMS and me
I can't find phone setting to regulate that. I searched and found a file com.android.mms_preferences.xml where I can see coding lines that describe these conditions. I tried various app to access the file and edit it but every time file resets to its original values. Am I missing something? Did anyone else had the same issues?

Values I found within file:
<string name="pref_key_mms_max_size">1.2m</string>
<string name="pref_key_mms_image_resize_resolution">qsxga</string>
<boolean value="true" name="pref_key_mms_group_mms"/>

Thank you!

I am coming from RicksRomv19.5 4.4.4, locked boot loader. I want to go to a 5.0 rom.
Do I just flash everything through safestrap in this order?
G900V_Fix Safestrap.zip
VZW_BPB1_ODEX_DEODEX_V9.zip New Version!
G900V_PB1_Stock_KERNEL_SafeStrap-Flashable.zip

Sorry to sound dense but I do not understand how to transfer the options.prop. How do I do this? Someone should please give a detailed information on how to install this zip because I want a debloated rom.
