Did you try formatting data in Stock recovery then flashing kit Kat kernel in Odin and see if you can get back to safestrap

Just tried KitKat kernel,still bootloop. Pretty sure I was on safestrap 3.75. Bummer for me.
So now that I'm restoring to ncg, I re-towelroot, safestrap install 3.75 and reboot into it. From there, I install your BPB1...do I need to install your new safestrap or is everything in your BPB1 package? I already have the zip and options.prop ready on my SD card once I get to that step.I just want to make sure I don't mess up again. I have backups so it's only a time waste at least.

Has anyone been able to get xposed installed. I have tried twice and I get a bootloop. Then i need to odin tar kitkat kernel to get to SS wipe system and reinstall Rom. I wonder if I have a bad download. Using xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-krait.zip
Make sure you install V8 and use the options.prop from that rom. You have to choose to add mods in options.prop then it will install safestrap. Some of the mods may not work if you dont choose to deodex the rom. 5 way reboot or the other framework mods will not work unless rom is deodexed. You will have to open the safestrap app and click install safestrap before it is actually installed. If coming from kitkat make sure update firmware. You will need to get BOD5 bootloaders if your still able to downgrade. Or you could just flash NCG rescue tar/NCG Rooting tar of mine it will keep your current bootloaders allow you to root then from safestrap just flash the firmware from the OP then the rom

Tar images are never deodexed. This rom can be installed as an odexed which is factory or a deodexed. This rom can be flashed with flashfire or safestrap. Are you rooted?

Yes, I'm rooted. I've already used the method in the post I linked, but the rom is odexed. I also saw that people were having issues with a different deodexed rom and was thinking about trying this one. I'm hoping to keep the whole process simple by using the flashfire method. Hoping. Haha!
Just read the OP about using the options.prop. This is how you choose between deodexed or odexed install and other options. I have tested it all day installing with flashfire and it seems to install fine now
Any way to tell if my edit of options.prop worked or not. I picked 1 on everything
Well if you have flashlight toggle and 5 way reboot menu and its slightly debloated has sbrowser then everyhting installed and the rom is deodexed because 5 way reboot menu wont work on odexed rom. Just remember to manually install safestrap with the safetrap app before you use 5 way safestrap reboot

Nope. I dont have any of that. I edited my options prop in winrar with notepad++ then saved it. I didnt save it to my sdcard card. Wondering what else i missed using FF.

Did you extract it from the zip to your computer edit it then place it on sd card?
YES....Lost root now. Darn thats aggravating. Atleast I know how to get root back i think

How did you loose root. Must have been from messing with the zip. You might need to redownload the rom
