few thousands after carrier charges too. yes we all want instant gratification and the latest, but theres a point until samsung sucks it up and stop being sloppy with updates, and to add do something to change the UI and boot-loader unlocking.

i have to double dip. the reveal will promise 100 percent improvements and like the note 8, deliver 50 percent truth. This time, I wont be suckered into the fray.

yes, agreed with rumors and sadly many assume it will be the next sky-net that walks and talks. so many on Sammy web forum having nightmares with the s9 already.
Not Excited for 20% Better battery (With Even brighter screen draining it).
Admittedly the speakers will be better but Do I care? I use AKG Earbuds.

Also that Exynos 8895 really sucks this year (for international users).
Snapdragon is better (for gamers too and this year's snapdragon is slightly better than the last) but the locked boot loader is just a bad idea that should be reconsidered and still sammy did not consider it

Still Horizontal Camera? Still Finger print on the back?
For extra 950$?

For me the phone is pretty good... excellent for multitasking, heavy games at full, I never get the phone stuck or even "thinking or waiting to do something", this phone is a rocket.
8.1? That version is a upgrade to fix some stuff on google phones...
Battery and speakers could be better but everything else is pretty nice.
I agreed with snapdragon is better for that reason you should buy the note 8 if it's snapdragon for your country because Samsung will invert the processors in note 9, snapdragon for the world and exynos for usa and Korea... surely they are testing but surely too that they will improve and nerf their processors.

Regards

How's the 80% battery treating you?

Snapdragon for gamers
Exynos for root lovers.

I still hope for samsung to unlock that bootloader. I don't know why they prevented rooting all of a sudden
But to be honest I rather better gaming experience and most of Roms do more harm than good.

I really want the Note. Almost bought the 7 before I moved across the world, then all that happened. Been waiting and waiting.. but the fingerprint reader location and speaker quality is a no go for me..

Even if all they do in the note 9 is move the fingerprint reader to the front and improve the speakers then I probably want to wait for the 9.

Fingerprint reader to front
Better speaker(s)

Think the will?

S9 leaks are not giving me much hope.
No word about some things like camera and speakers yet but the fingerprint reader is just as bad as S8. Just as curved screen. Barely anything..
i desired s9 plus, but lately the s9 has as many holes as swiss cheese.

Nothing wrong with the speaker. Finger print sensor is definitely a fail.

Personally , I'd not bother waiting.

I read the news, play scrabble, text and listen to music on any given day. I can get home easily with 55-60% left. The idle time battery management is phenomenal. I also removed most of the google and verizon stuff, and froze a few other things. I leave location services off unless I am using an app that needs it. By comparison, my LG V10 - rooted and set up the same way - would require a charge at work, and by the time I got home would be about 30%
