Ok so I installed eb01 and superclean 2.0 and my phone is telling me I have no network coverage. Interesting thing is that when I did the wipe after I installed eb01 it didnt bring me to the setup wiz. Does that mean something didnt wipe correctly and thats why I have no network?
1. did you flash the new modem in Odin
2. if you did, try just rebooting

Sorry I forgot to post in this thread. I got it working, I did another wipe, installed the modem and superclean and wiped again. This time it brought me to the setup wizard and I dialed *228 and ran option 1 and 2 and it works now. Thank for the help though :D

Wow. Now that's some serious instructions. Good job. If anyone has any ofthose "how do I" questions after this then they are retarded.

Wow man, that is seriously the most awesome post I've seen since the Froyo leak posts :)

When I was a novice, it was stuff like the above that took me hours of pouring through forums and googling to nail down by myself. I'm sure this will help tons of people!

My phone was rooted before and I decided to go back to stock. I followed your instructions to re-root via Odin and I can not get into clockwork at all. The update.zip always fails and I've tried a few different ones. Any ideas?

Let me start with saying that was a extremely impressive write up, but unfortunately I had some issues.

Previously rooted with CWM and just recently did the Verizon update. Re-rooted using step 1 & 2.

Tried to boot into download mode and it takes me to samsung recovery instead. So, I went to step 4 of just updating CWM, when installing the update.zip it errors with a !.

I cannot back up my current rom using rom manager but titanium shows me rooted. Any suggestions for next steps?

Remove battery, hold the volume down button, and plug the usb cord into phone. That should take you to download mode.

Thanks so much, installed CWM. Still can't back up my current rom in Rom Manager. Getting a error in Android System Recovery saying failed signature verification.

I put the update.zip from the "update CWM" post on my sd card, could that be the issue?

Numerous tries of re-loading clockwork and trying to back up using rom manager, same error keeps coming up regarding the signatures

Found a solution for my problem although not a fix as I got stuck trying to put the battery mod on my phone again, got Froyo though!!

after flashing clockworkmod file via odin you need to put in your battery and immediately boot into recovery and start the process,if you boot the phone up without following this step you will need to flash with odin again

I've had that issue once before. I solved it by flashing a fresh re- download of clockwork and reflash it using Odin. Also, do not copy the update.zip yourself. Odin will put it there for you. I would recommend deleting the existing one for good measure.

So, to summarize, redo step 3.
