You can't just root it.

You have to wait a certain amount of time.
Then you get an unlock key.
You use that key to enable the OEM unlocking flag.
You toggle OEM unlocking from developer options.
Then you use fastboot to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP.

Give TMobile a call and ask about unlocking the bootloader on the Nord N10 5g. If you meet the requirements, they'll connect you with tech services so you can get that key.

Tmobile will give you a run around.
Proccess is as follows

step 1: Unlock device (sim Unlock)
step 2: Request Unlock token from Oneplus. Google search "Oneplus Unlock Bootloader"
step 3: wait 7 days exactly from request time
step 4: use this command in your fastboot terminal fastboot flash cust-unlock <unlock_token.bin>
step 5: fastboot oem unlock
step 6: reboot into bootloader vol down and power button, let go of power when the warning shows
step 7: fastboot boot twrp.img
step 8: flash twrp installer in twrp and reboot to recovery
step 9: flash magisk
step 10. Your welcom
