Stop restarting your phone, the counter is counted towards phone restarts and how many times the teleservice apk starts. after a set number of starts, it would lock automatically.
i don't think that's the way, my device still shows sim lock message sometimes even without restart

I see, then I am not entirely sure. I got region-customized message from day 1, I restart a few times and get it locked within a day, got it unlocked after sending it to Oppo Service center with my official china export receipt.
Can help confirm that your phone is on QuadHD or FullHD settings? And do you use automatic brightness feature? I found out that the sudden brightness bug is actually associated with QuadHD and automatic brightness causes the lockscreen to always stay dim. I turn off automatic brightness and stayed my phone in FullHD mode, and the annoying bugs seems less obvious.
Its on QuadHD. No issues with automatic brightness. Truly as stated. No issues.

Great! I just bought a Chinese version OnePlus 11, activated on China and switch to OxygenOS 13 last night. My version is CHP2449_11_A.08. Need to wait until 14-20 days for region lock issue or not.

i have oneplus ace2 bought from china and calls stopped after 1 week, i went to Oppo service center and they aware of the problem and solved it (ulock the region lock) in 2 mins.
did oppo service center ask anything?
or he just take your phone and helped you to unlock straight away.
what excalty happened i, i asked my chinese friend that bought me the phone to call oppo china service to ask them how we can solve it, and they told him that they will reach oppo service center in my country (Egypt), and surprisingly, Oppo egypt called me and told me they aware of the issue and come to solve, and that's it they did not ask anything

5I found the prop to enable region lock so created Magisk module to disable it (and enable location history as a bonus).
Please test "magisk-module-oplus-cn2global-test.zip" if your device is rooted.
I've put together a blog post on which specific regions are region-locked.
They seem to be targeting areas where the global version is officially sold.

2. Get help from Chinese colleague to communicate over Oppo service center number.
3. Chinese Oppo service person talked with Oppo service in my country.
4. My country called me to visit Oppo service center and they unlocked.
Note: Local Oppo service center team communicate with Chinese Oppo service center interface person to confirm unlock and get help from them.
