General [WARNING] Calling stops working outside of China for the Chinese version

TradingShenzhen just listed the 11 5G with 512GB memory, and they're claiming that these don't have region lock issues. I just grabbed mine.

Did OTA work? Do you face auto brightness problem? Also is your bootloader locked or unlocked

Good news, 2 weeks have passed and no region lock message since the 3rd of March. You definitely need a Chinese sim used in the phone and called with it for a few minutes (I asked to do 5 minutes).

Phone also flashed to OxygenOS after a few days receiving it and doing the method mentioned above.

Currently the phone is using a Malaysian sim. All good so far.

Can it be done on chinesr roaming SIM? Details please.

Bonne nouvelle, 2 semaines se sont écoulées et aucun message de verrouillage régional depuis le 3 mars. Vous avez certainement besoin d'une carte SIM chinoise utilisée dans le téléphone et appelée avec elle pendant quelques minutes (j'ai demandé à faire 5 minutes).

Le téléphone a également flashé sur OxygenOS après quelques jours de réception et d'application de la méthode mentionnée ci-dessus.

Actuellement, le téléphone utilise une carte SIM malaisienne. Tout va bien jusqu'à présent.

Why should OTA work , BL must be open otherwise you have a brick

CN Region flashed to India (only this region will work) OPEN BL

Read up on all the information available in the forum... Read a about Oxygen updater,
Be careful that you read every thing,that is a way to get the phone with a Update
Be careful, don't do anything for what you have no idea how to exactly

Reason I am asking is some sellers claim that they can flash CN version to oos with OAT work (no need to flash img separately) also I converted my device to EU so only India works is not accurate

Yes i received phone 13 of march , there was an update and now im CPH24476_11_A.08 , i think it was unlocked if u are refering to allow OEM to be unlocked but i disabled it

I bought two from giztop, one on colos os and one on global . Only have problems with one converted to oxygen (android 13) and to do updates I have to flash oplusstanvbk through fastboot in order for phone to boot

If you get a update it will relock the BL

Did you activate your mobile in china then bring to abroad? Can you please share how/where did you activate your phone?

Switched on/activated in Beijing. Called 5 minutes with the same SIM at the time (Chinese SIM). Was brought back and I flashed the OS to OxygenOS via a third party service centre. (Malaysia)

yes like i said i bought from giztop. Chinese device flashed to indian rom, so u say if i keep "allow OEM to be unlocked" turned off there is a chance to be bricked on next update?

sorry to hear that mine is lfashed to oxygen and received the first update ok. I used to know that oneplus phones were ok to install whatever rom u wanted without any drawbacks like xiaomi that u have to use a custom rom, i was thinking to buy one more for resale cos price dropped but now with all this hustle i afraid

what excalty happened i, i asked my chinese friend that bought me the phone to call oppo china service to ask them how we can solve it, and they told him that they will reach oppo service center in my country (Egypt), and surprisingly, Oppo egypt called me and told me they aware of the issue and come to solve, and that's it they did not ask anything

Can I PM to check with you for more details? I have the same issue but when I brought to a local OPPO service center(Singapore), they told me they don't acknowledge the receipt the online seller sent me. When I checked with the online seller, they stated that is the only type of receipt.
