I contacted with oneplus support by e-mail. They had a lot of questions about imei, serial number, my details and prove of purcharse. Country - United Kingdom. I dont need pay for that. Oneplus support created shipping label for me. I just need prepare parcel, stick label on it and pass it to royal mail (there was option that they can collect parcel from my house without any extra fee). Yes my phone PHB110 China bought on onbuy.com. I sent in friday 28.04 and yesterday was possibile to get it back but i was too busy yesterday so i collected my phone today.

Just got this email so if someone bought phone at tradingshenzhen and still have region lock this might help. And they sell phone again at their page with note "FINALLY: NO REGION LOCK ANYMORE + OTA UPDATES POSSIBLE" so seems legit.

Does anyone have an update regarding the region lock for CN version? Is the problem still there or the region lock has been lifted completely?

If there are no official Oppo service centers in your country and you cannot send the phone to get it unlocked, your only option is to return/refund it.

The problem is that I can't return the phone it's not like that here if you tested the phone in front of the seller and it's working that's it you Bay the phone and there's no retuning we don't have official stores here

How is it "working" when you can't make calls? Use your old smartphone and record a video of trying to make a call.

If you absolutely cannot return it, find someone in China who ships working Chinese SIM cards, get it, insert it and you'll get your calls.

I had a working Chinese SIM card inserted in my Chinese OP11 since day one and it was still being locked. I had to visit an OPPO support center to unlock it. This was very early maybe around late January when there wasn't an instruction for converting to Oxygen.

Whoa, didn't know a Chinese SIM no longer helps. Thanks!

I had no idea Chinese SIM card was a thing. I loved the Oneplus 7 Pro so much that I ordered an OP11 before the first unit was ever shipped in China. A friend who traveled out of China in early January took the device to me. I activated the device with both a Chinese SIM and a foreign SIM inside without knowing anything about a region lock. Call function stopped working after 2 weeks in late January I ended up visiting an OPPO service center to unlock the device.

LOL this company becomes more and more of a joke by the day.

No idea why all the links have been removed from the message but whatever.

4pda distributes warez, correct, but all the links were for a valid topic which has nothing to do with that.

Never heard of them distributing malware though. Must be something to do with the war I guess.

4pda has a ton of talented developers and some ROMs are basically developed over there but looks like the rules here have changed.

My post had nothing to do with warez.

Can I post a link to Google com?

Over 15 thousand results for 4pda at xda-developers.

I found the prop to enable region lock so created Magisk module to disable it (and enable location history as a bonus).
Please test "magisk-module-oplus-cn2global-test.zip" if your device is rooted.

I've put together a blog post on which specific regions are region-locked.
They seem to be targeting areas where the global version is officially sold.

Hi guys, some good news!!! Found on 4pda

"We managed to get in touch with OPPO representatives. We received an answer that in fact the company did not join any sanctions, this is just a technical bug, and now the developers are working to fix it as soon as possible. In the near future, this malfunction will go away, - explained the store manager Alexander Levin"

I've removed the links to 4pda from your above post!
