Watch faces made with Gear Watch Designer

I decided to give it a go and try the Gear Watch Designer to make some watch faces. I started with my sports teams and then tried a couple premium faces. I'll probably create some more with the faces from this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-360/themes-apps/watchmaker-500-watchfaces-monster-pack-t3276583

Only annoying thing is that I can't delete the stock faces on the watch - several of which I'll never use, and there's a limit of 15 faces you can add. Since I've made 8 faces so far, and downloaded a bunch more, I'm out of space! Guess I like to fiddle too much...

Anyway, feel free to post faces you've made. I'd like to get some ideas of what other guys have come up with...

I see this is an old thread, but if anyone comes across this, it's changed, I have 60 faces stored on the watch!

Hey Folks, I have searched and come up with nothing.....is there an easy way to have the current time displayed as text?

Galaxy Store search for "English Text Face" or "PG text watch face - 7 colours in one download"

Pretty sure we can't get at the .gwd files of the stock faces until and unless someone gets this thing rooted. That being said, that's not a very complicated face, and it could be created from scratch with relative ease - it's just text linked to "complications" in the Gear Watch Designer program. If/when I get a chance, I'll see if I can throw together a version of it together...

fyi even with root, you would not get the gwd file as what actually loads is a tpk file.

gwd files are built in the Designer and it creates the tpk which is sent to the watch and loaded like on android apk

sharing a couple Galaxy Watch Designer Faces (gwd files)

Here are a couple faces I have been working on, let me know what you think, and if I should make changes, or add anything?

I've taken the basic design from a watchmaker face, I tried to go back to find the person and give credit, but I can no longer find it. So wanted to clarify that. I worked this for the Galaxy Designer from scratch and added some stuff including taps.

Center of face is a custom double tap to set app, single tap to then open what you pick.

tap once: (these apps need to be installed)
Music opens music app from Samsung
ALTI-BARO open the Altimeter barometric app from Samsung
STPW opens stopwatch by Samsung

Gear Tactical v.8 gwd file

Joker Card, just a simple face no taps right now.

Joker Card gwd file

I'm creating a watch face and was looking for hands like this that are bright (almost glowing) orange. I did purchase the watch face shown here and I really like it just wanted a better AOD. Anyone know how to create in GWD or where I could download ones like this? Most I find are not 'bright' orange. Thanks.

Hi all
Is there any option anywhere to make the hour and minutes hands to stay full bright in AOD?
I dont mind about battery little more draining, since with aod mode always on, I get 45% at the end of the day so in any case I charge it every night.
I just want to be able to check the time just with a look especially when on my motorcycle on a bright day:(
Thanks

In Galaxy Watch Designer in the upper right is the "Add Always-On State" Once you click that, you then click it again to bring that state up in the left panel for Designer, there you can then change colors and opacity of components.

But still even if you succeed with the opr value, so you put only the hands and the dial and nothing more and you put the opacity at 100%, everything is still very dim when in aod. So is there any other way to mess with the % of dimming in the aod mode?

I see what you are saying now, I always have gone in and adjusted AOD even lower, looking for best battery. It looks like they simply set the AOD at a max to ensure that battery life minimum.

Help!!!

I'm learning how to build my own watch face using GWD. How do I purchase a watch face through the galaxy store then upload it to GWD so I can make my own changes? OR, instead of purchasing a watch face how do I find all of the individual images so I can build one from scratch?
My end goal is to have an attitude indicator (I'm a pilot) on the face that utilizes the gyro effects (this is my first post so I cannot add any images or attachments. I would also like to have the altitude displayed on the face. I don't know how to do any of this stuff....yet! Thank you for the help.
