Hi. Sometimes when I put new face on the watch its get bricked. Screen is off, nothing happends when push buttons.

I found reason: DOT in file name propably. Earlier I think Its because there is no picture in Preview dir in HWT file (you can open it with IZArc) but this is not reason - some files dont have it but works property.
So if You downloaded theme witch Dot in filename just rename it without any DOTs (.).
Yesterday I bricked my watch twice. Now I tried 30-50 faces: no DOT, no brick.

Solution: Press upper button for 15-20 sec, You will see huawei logo. If not boot to watchface do it again and again. When you can see first preinstaled face on watch go to settings and do factory reset.

Maybe this thread help any user.

Can confirm this works. I took at least 4-5 reboots (was also holding both buttons on the rebbot where it worked... but maybe it had nothing to do with it...)

Now I found one more way to un-brick watch. Take them from hand, put on table (dont use it, dont move) and upload working face.

PS: I have more soft-brick with 0.75b version of Face Maker than 0.72b. I must finish one watchface, but after that switching back to older version.

PS2: If more than 30 elements in watch face (Maker) close it and reopen ALWAYS before create HWT file. Watch with 30+ elements can be stable on watch. ;)

That only works if the watch is still connected to the phone with bluetooth... which was not the case for my watch when it was bricked...

Do you have same problem as me with that Huawei watch face maker? When i select 24 hour format in Rotary element, it's the same as 12 hrs format.

Hi, I'm the developer of facemaker, soon I'll post v0. 82b (couple of days) , get ready for awesomeness. Its really going to blow away any other watch face designer, keep tracking my youtube channel.

It'll feature support for more watches, snapshot png export with watch frame, enhanced preview, awesome new UI by Marko Soornum, Image widget blend modes, new logo, seriously. I'm excited to release it.
I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

I'm sorry your watch got bricked by a theme (I'm not even sure if it was designed by my software), but my software clearly states that anything beyond 20 widgets is dangerous. Now, I know that anything with more than 25 widgets WILL most likely brick your watch, so before you install, ask the designer how many widgets does it have.
If he doesn't answer, skip it.

I hope you guys keep enjoying facemaker, it won't be free for long, so download as soon as you can.

Cheers!
