Hello,

After manual update via fastboot for newer version (from leedroid to mwd48b) my watch cannot work without cradle, after few more flashes it stop booting on cradle too. :/

Unfortunately flashing needs a lot of battery so after few operations like this watvh battery will be empty but from software perspective it could be still fully charged. That was my case.

So I took off battery with this instruction (https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/LG+G+Watch+R+Battery+Replacement+Replacement/50125) and on the beginning of the connection tape (black plastic box on battery) I found two points for connecting external charger (soldering points with + and -). I connected (temporary soldered) two wires from battery to charger and after hour it was fully charged. After unsoldering and packing all stuff to the watch envelope it just start working like nothing strange happened earlier.

Remember:

- It should be dedicated charger for li-ion batteries
- flash your android watch only with 100% charged battery

Good luck for everyone with this issue!

Thank you for posting this. I've been trying to get my watch working for months, and never thought to try this. It's now working perfect. I can actually boot it without the cradle, and it's no longer randomly shutting down. Saved me dropping $300 on a new watch
