Found another one (BioLogic Bike Mount for Android)

It's a new product, seems like good quality, though a bit expensive.. The only thing i'm worried about is the bike attachment, seems a bit light..
So you buy this:
premiumbikegear.com/biologic/device-mounts/bike-mounttm-for-android.html
And this, to make your Desire HD to fit in:
premiumbikegear.com/bike-mount-for-android-liner-htc-desire-hd.html

All in all, gonna cost 70usd (incl. shipping 15usd for me to Finland).

I'm considering ordering.. Any experiences?

I do a lot of mountain-biking, I doubt having a DHD on the handlebar is a particularly good idea with all the vibrations and occasional falls..

but all the same, how on earth can you see the screen in bright daylight??

Looks like this thread is a bit old, but i hope someone will see my question:

I'm looking for a waterproof bike holder for my DHD, but i'd like to have one where i can actually press the power button.
Having the mount and then not being able to enable the screen seems a bit useless to me.

My only other option would be an external battery and setting the screen to never turn off.

btw:

If you set the screen brightness to 255 (i've got a codefireX rom and i had to manually set the brightness levels), then you can have the sun shining right on the screen and you are still able to see everything

/edit:

i just bought this one in a local supermarket:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Smartphoneta...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

it's not waterproof, but close enough for 10 €
My DHD fits perfectly without any room left (a bit hard to get it out again^^) and i can even press the power button and use the touchscreen without problems

I agree. For you, better choice would be arm strap, like a guy that commented below said. :) I personaly keep it in a pocket or in a bag.. It's safest there :D

I've found a really simple and cheap solution

I ride a road bike and wanted a waterproof holder

I saw one on ebay which got me thinking. - search for "Silicone Universal Bike Cycle Mobile Phone Holder Mount free postage"

In the end I got 2 thick elastic bands to replace the item above, popped my phone in a zip lock bag - and jobs a guddun

With screen on 100% brightness I get about 30-40mins with 'Wakey' keeping my screen on, and then EndoMondo app running (plus all the other apps which I hadn't bothered to kill)

I've been out with this set up about 3 or 4 times now and it's spot on, even in the rain.

Head phones wouldn't be a problem, just make sure the zip lock bag is big enough so you can fold the end over a few times - that'll keep the water out

Problem = solved
Price = about 5p
