Weather app issues

Seeing how these threads are sadly dead I'm not expecting a lot from this. My stock weather app does not update automatically. I have to open the app and pull down to refresh. The app location permission only gives me the option for "only allow while using app". I need to allow it to always use location. Any ideas???

Had the same issue. This app worked for me and I tried several. The widget automatically updates.
