Weird device temperature difference: Hotspot vs. streaming to bluetooth speaker

When I use the Mi A2 lite as a WLAN hotspot (2,4 Ghz) the device stays cool to the touch but when I stream music from my webradio app to my Bluetooth speaker the device gets warm.
Is that normal?
