weird sleep button issue?

I just picked up a TF701T and noticed that when I hit the sleep button or power button the screen turns off kind of like an old CRT television, it doesn't just turn to black. Anyone else notice this? One side of the screen above the dock connector also has a pinkish hue and there is a tiny bit of backlight bleed on one corner of the screen...still better than the iPad 4 I had! Other than that this thing is pretty nice!

It's not a bug, it's a feature CRT animation...
